Kuja has blazed his way to another glorious win, and he's eyeing the prize- the first godike title for the RPG dueling leauge. He has oodles of style, oceans of power, and the will to use both at once. After defeating the Seeker of power, the sinistral of Terror, and the overlord of Zeal, he faces a.... child in the finals? Kuja isn't one to short sell an opponent based on looks, or cuteness. Expect the Genome to go all out, in hopes of getting a quick win.

Choko... cute? yes. However, that hasn't stopped her from leaving a pile of bodies in her wake this season. The pretty knight got floored, the clown got dropped, the snake lady was turned into a pair of shoes. Choko now wants to add Kuja's tail, and turn it into a good luck charm. With Vanish and her massive stats backing her, she stands a chance of doing just that.

A PC...Royce's favourite opponent. This should be a pathetic battle for her, what with Flame Bird totally nulling any attempt Rapp makes to fight back. He might get off one lucky strike ( which won't kill her ), but then it's all downhill, as she proceeds to paralyze, drain, and beat the living hell out of the nose-picker. It's a simple win.

Rapp faces the most difficult battle a PC can ever face. Against Royce, he has better speed, but no way to dodge the nasty status attack Flame Bird, a paralysis/drain combo. His speed, while better, will only allow him to get off one strike, and it most likely will not kill her. It's an extremely uphill fight for Rapp, and the Cafuian has probably met his match in the snake-charmer.

The youngest Beoulve is but one step away from her first (and indeed, THE first) RPGDL Middle championship, but that one step will likely be the hardest one yet! After all, though Ultros isn't the first person Alma has met who falsely claims to be royalty, he's almost certainly the most dangerous. Alma's Ribbon protects her from the worst of the purple octopus' deadly attacks, including his Imp Song, but Alma will still have to brave strong Tentacle attacks and -aga class attack magic in order to win this. With her high defences, further bolstered by MBarrier, and her always-devastating Ultima spell, however, she's in an excellent position to finally put that tentacle monster in his place!

Having marched (or however it is land octopi move) all the way to the Middle finals, Ultros is finally faced with a true test of his abilities: one against whom his Imp Song is useless. He's far from beaten so easily, though; his always-devastating Tentacle attack ignores Alma's evasion, and he backs it up with gravity attacks and Level 3 elemental magic. Ultros' above-average magic defence will also come into play against Alma's Ultima, but there's no doubt that defensively, Alma has the edge. Still, Ultros' superior HP and offensive output may yet make up for this. Can the octopus claim a third young woman as his victim, or does his rampage end here?

Vincent's being seen with some strange company in the days of the Toran and Dunan wars, but never any so strange as Cait Sith! However, for this match, it's not his opponent's appearance that should worry Vincent, but his good magic defence. Reliant on his Rune as always, Vincent should try to put as good a dent in Cait Sith's HP with The Shredding as he can manage, or hope for a lucky sleep spell. If he can't get some quick results, then he, like others before him, will face the wrath of Cait Sith's Transform materia, and that is one thing he DOESN'T want in this match!

Though undoubtedly one of the strangest competitors in Light, the megaphone-wielding, remote-controlled, robotic talking cat riding a stuffed Mog is now out to prove he's one of the strongest, too. Cait Sith's above average magic defence and excellent HP give him an edge against Vincent, and should let him last long enough to turn yet another competitor into a frog. Really, Cait Sith's only conern here is that Vincent will likely be fighting as a desperate man; after all, no self-respecting Scarlet Moon narcissist would DARE let anyone change him into something as vulgar as a frog!
