Okay, I'll give you one piece of data. Mute Ray does ~300 HP damage (will not reduce you below 1 HP), 50 fixed SP damage, and has a high (perfect?) rate of Silence.

Now for some actual content. PC stats at level 70, which is a reasonable endgame. 75 is also pretty reasonable, and most PCs learn their last skills by then.

Priestess gets her final skill at level 77 (and she wants this badly, since it's Fire Amp). With the True Ending final dungeon taken into account, this level seems reasonable to me.

And yeah, 80 is probably what I would use. I think OK is actually working on a L80 topic right now.

80 seems massively overleveled to me, since I finished with PCs at 65-70 and found the final nonchallenging. Maybe if you stuck with one party for most of the game that's feasible.

Well, generally for DL levels we assume using only one party. What was your main at?
And I'm 67 and about ready to fight the optional in the November dungeon. And I ran from a bunch of fights. So yeah...

For what it's worth, I built all the PCs equally until about midway through the Magatsu dungeon, where I started focusing on just the guys. Ended up at the final at level 82. *shrugs*

My main was level 75, so 80 for for the rest of the party would be about right if you stuck with one party consistently. The main levels up slower than the other characters.

...he does? I never noticed, though I doubt it would make a 5 level difference since EXP scales to level.

Ended with the main at 82, I believe, and the rest of the PCs in their high 70's.
That was with minimal grinding in the early game (was underlevelled most everytime I went into a dungeon) and then sitting down and focusing to get every character their max skills prior to fighting Barney Fife.
Based on my experience, I'd probably say 80 feels on the high end for taking the bosses at. But, then again, I'm a notorious underleveller.

I finished with main at 81 and party at mid 70s. On the flipside, I feel like (on Expert) I splattered Barney and EitS without a casualty. Fife got like... four actions total.
