Hi all!
We haven't gotten together in a while, so I was thinking about organizing something in Vancouver for summer 2020. I am off work in July and August and think it would be really nice to host a group of people here. It doesn't necessarily have to be a large event, but I would like to see people and show people around the city if possible.
We could also meet in a different place if you guys prefer, but I am willing to organize any size event here.

I'm interested in the location though it is unlikely that I'll have the extra funds to travel (in general).
As my status is "probably not," I didn't think to respond not realizing it still might be welcomed feedback. So, oops.
If by some "miracle" I do earn enough extra cash, I would be interested in attending.

Oh geez, I somehow never noticed the topic. Oop?
Yeah, I can do vancouver no prob~ May decide to come up around then to bother you guys anyway if nothing pans out for a full con?

Be interested in Boston myself. I'll probably drive, so you can put me as a driver.

I'm interested in hosting in Boston. Not definite yet - my work is moving offices this summer and maybe (but probably not) I'm moving apartments for June 1. Which could potentially strain things. But I think that is not likely to be a major impediment. I can't do the week of June 8th, otherwise as far as I am currently aware the summer is wide open.
If it makes more sense to do Vancouver this summer, I am open to that (and will likely attend). Also as a stray thought, I'd be open to hosting a smaller gathering in the fall, maybe mid to late October when the leaves are turning and New England is particularly pretty.

I'm interested either way, however:
1)I would need to know well in advance so I can ask for time off work. Work is unlikely to give me any time off during peak season unless I get one hell of a head-start.
2)I might not be able to attend anyhow, because 1

Probably can manage Boston. Vancouver I'd love to do but money/time constraints means I'd pass if it was there. Whatever works for a majority of people.

I'd be interested in either location. (Or possibly even both if one of them ended up downgraded to minimeet.)

Shun and I can probably do August in Vancouver.
Boston sounds nice, but it's just a tad too expensive.
