Honestly, it's hardly a big deal. It was a minor mistake, and he won matches based on the fair on site voting (If you thought there was cheating involved there, different story)! Certainly letting someone right back in after they just lost is much worse because it's a purposeful breaking of the rules. There's only even a 25% chance that Albert would have been the nom that was changed anyways.

Honesty myself, I would have just let it go. We aren't perfect. Heck, a few seasons back, when Juan champed, Juan had to be added by dice roll since we forgot the last Middle nom. In another noms night, the dice roller added Galcian twice for matches, and the first roll pitted Galcian (as a seed) against Galcian as a normal dueller. Albert winning is OK with me...but I still think he stole from Meredy.

Most places I've been to have had accidents like this, so it's not unusual to me. However, if Albert wins the championship, it likely wouldn't be fair to the people he beat. It's already bad in terms of what happened to Meredy, Huxley, and Aika.

If it becomes an issue (and it probably won't), the best possibilities are to either look the other way, or when noms night comes around, bend the rules to allow one of the three (four, if Margulis loses) in a second time, determined by Hatbot.

Kent (FE7) vs. Jean (BoF2) - Jean. How'd someone with ID get in Light anyway? I'm pretty sure Evil Gaia's like the only person in Light who can resist that.

Hey, not the first time an IDer was in Light. Marivel Armitage had ID (Guillotine). Some duellers with ID can be so slow that somebody can speedily stop them before reaching for it. Overall, ID interps rely on speed more than on resistance, IMO.

Heavy:
Eirika vs Suicune: Pokemon. Gee, what did the "mon" mean?

Middle:
Margulis vs Albert Serdio: I have NO respect for Albert's magic defense.

Damn it I hate when one religion tries to enforce its views on everyone. If you want to practice a religion, regardless if it consists of you praying at an altar, becoming a miko, believing in Vishnu, it's perfectly fine. If you wish to live by your morals, die by your morals, that's OK. Just don't throw your beliefs on other people who don't want them. There's a reason they don't want them, and that's because they love living how they are. Once again, if you find peace, redemption, and/or love and hope in religion, I don't mind at all. Just don't force me into it. I have my beliefs, I have my reasons, and I have my gods and goddesses, and you have yours. Keep it that way.

And now you're telling us contraception is abortion. Next thing you know, they're going to claim that obstinance pledges (like they work anyway) and simply not making love are abortion processes.

I know someone in real life who played Persona 3 because I suggested it to them, and they went and bought all the other Shin Megami games (well, that they could find), and even mentioned borrowing Persona 2 sometime. So oddly enought Persona 3 could make Persona 2 draw better.

Persona 2 DID do a bit better after its re release ( I picked up a copy then, so Meeple isnt the only one that gained voting on it). I think Ulala was drawing around 50% when she was in not ranked (oddly, shes not listed in the NR topic). And if people play Persona 3 and like it, they might go hunting down Persona 2 or DDS or games like that. However, I would like to see Maya get in again, she didnt do too awful last time she was in.

Also, I am of the opinion that vote draw doesnt really matter that much, as long as the character wins fair and square. Persona 2 characters DO seem to get the wins that they deserve in NR, and Maya even champed. If the vote draw is so poor they dont win, then they get booted. Persona 2 isnt really at that point.

That is a good scenario for a game to be (re)ranked. However, even that has its limits. Other games that may piggyback into the league through other games are Fire Emblems 6 and 10 (thanks to 7 and 9, though 9 could piggyback thanks to SSBB), Mother 1 (EarthBound), Kingdom Hearts (plausibly on the FF games), and Star Ocean 1 (SO2 and 3, though the PSP game could conceivably help if given a US release). However, the main problem is that in order to piggyback, the rerelease (or other game) has to be more successful than the previous game. And since we can't keep giving rereleases (I'm looking at you Pokemon RBG), this only happens rarely. However, even with that, the problem still remains for P2: low amount of game copies, rare, and it's a PS1 game in the era of the PS3. Only through the release of the game through PSP/PS3 store (which has...say...a 5,000,000 to 1 chance of occuring) can more versions of the game be picked up. As it stands now, P2 is a VERY, VERY tenuous rank...er...rerank for this season. Maybe in a later round, but not now.

But if anything, you can take solace in that as bad as the P2 votedraw is, it can't hold a candle to the vote draw of Thousand Arms in the Ranked League...ok, now I'm interested. Was P2 one of the worst Ranked games (top 5 maybe)? And also, how have its number improved since then?

Persona 3: I'm...iffy on ranking P3 now, but give it time.

Fire Emblem 9: Best numbers thus far. I do look forward to FE10's inevitable entry into NR.

Disgaea 2: As I noted in the rating topic, D2 is holding its own rather well. This is, easily, my Must-Rank this time.

Mana Khemia: As much as I'd love to see it in the DL (Pamela for champion!), it just...doesn't have anything to go on. No NR numbers, little voters, and few writers. Maybe in a few periods, but not yet.

Wild Arms 5: Next time, maybe.

Xenosaga 3: Give it a while.

Phantom Brave: Half of me is for ranking Ash as a FW, but I hold off for now. Maybe next ranking? (Side note: If we had three positions, like before, this would be #3 for me.)

Tales of Innocence: Non-US Tales game is LOL.

Radiata Stories: It's...got numbers. But if you ask me, it's a tacky rank.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Advanced: Possibly sometime before the next freeze, but I'm cold on it for this period.

Ateiler Iris 1: Mana Khemia seems like a more likely rank.

The World Ends with You: I'm looking forward to seeing how TWEWY does in NR.

Mother 1: It's...not out of the question to rank it, but it hardly...HARDLY...has a shot. I'd wait for an NR performance first, though.

Fire Emblem 6: Feels like a solid game for sometime before the freeze, but inasfar as this one is concerned, we'll stick to the 7 rankings for now.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest: I wouldn't mind it ranked, just not yet.

La Pucelle Tactics: I'd love to see it ranked soon.

Overall, I'll equal the sentiment. D2 and FE9 should be ranked this season. Also, the possibility for FE9 to get better is good, thanks to Ike's appearance in SSBB.
