Language. There is perhaps no weapon more powerful for mankind than what he says and how he says it. When used incorrectly, it can devastate friends, family, even entire nations.
...Stop me if you've heard this one.
It is quite often that those who don't think highly of their own intellect have the best things to say. For example, take Yangus, who has correctly completed the puzzle by stating that Excel did not realize the deadline was approaching in her initial search for edge pieces and only noticed the second time around.
These missing words only serve to demonstrate how powerful language can be. If Yangus had not found them, further misunderstand may have occurred, and their meaning could have been lost forever...in the Twilight Zone.

Accountability. Another one of man's powerful tools. In this case, likely too powerful to be ignored by those it may come back to haunt.
Consider Ash v. Excel. Ash has claimed that Excel is trying to shift accountability away from herself in claiming that people should wait for the Queen to post before lynching her. A bit of a stretch, as it implies that, should the Queen be lynched and flip town, Excel would appear again the next day and claim the lynch was not her fault because she warned everyone not to lynch before the Queen posted. Were this to happen, then Excel would deservedly be the target of ire, and she would gladly be welcomed into the Twilight Zone, but no one can vote without being aware of the accountability they would hold should their vote target flip town.
In fact, one can theorize that Excel has already acknowledged this issue of accountability by being willing to vote for the probably lynch candidate many hours before the deadline, while knowing full well that she will not be able to return to change her mind if necessary.
