Djinn said that I should hang out here again, so I guess I'm back here after a really long time.  I think it's been like a few years.  A lot has happened during that time.

I was up in PA for college and went back to FL after I graduated last year.  I then spent a year trying to get myself together and figure out what I wanted to do with my life.  The first half was really rough for me and just wasn't happy with myself overall.  The second half was a much time for me.  Things started to really look up starting at the end of last year.  I grew close to a girl I knew for a while from the backloggery and we started going out at the beginning of this year.  I then found a job where I'd work for a few months, and then got into graduate school.

So here I am.  It's been stressful getting used to grad school and other thing and I've been trying my best to keep myself together.  At least I'm in a much better position than I was last year and know what I want to do with my life.

P4: Restarted since I screwed up and saved on the last day to save Fisheyes. Also working on building Social links here too.

Uhhh, if you run out of time to save anyone then the game will shunt you back a week.

I know, I hate it since I lost the levels and the persona I got. Also, I always run out of Yen to pay the fox.

Don't use the fox.

It drains a lot of money you could use to get equipment for all your characters at the same time, items, and Personas.  Even when I sold all my materials at the weapons shop, I didn't feel like I had enough money to cover whatever I wanted to buy if I used the fox the day before.  A better alternative to the fox is to get the upside Judgment and Death cards after battles, both of which restores your party's MP.  The only difference between the two is that upside Death drops your party's HP to 1 and teleports you outside the dungeon.  Don't worry if your MP is low while you're trying to find those cards.  Just fight a bunch of Shadows.  If they're giving you trouble, try earlier dungeons.  It may take you hours just to find either card and have it turn upside.  Look at it this way: you'll earn a lot of yen and materials along the way.  You can get to the end of a dungeon in one day just by relying on Death and Judgment cards for MP restoration.

The only time when you want to use the fox is as a last resort, and that's only when you max out its Social Link.  By the time I maxed out the fox's Social Link near the end of the game, I had an ability that restored 5% of my party's MP after every battle.

Jeanne D'Arc:

After starting Wild Arms 3 and giving up 4 hours in the game because it bored me to tears, I started Jeanne D'Arc.  I'm happy to see a PSP game that's not a spinoff, a remake, or a port.  So far, I've taken down one of three forts surrounding Orleans.  Except for Jeanne, leveling up Lianne takes priority over all other characters.

Persona 4: Beat the game yesterday and got the true ending.  I was really lucky during the last boss fight, because none of my characters died even once.  I was at Level 85 while Yukiko, Yosuke, and Teddie (in turn order) were around Level 80.  Persona of choice?  Saturnus at Level 83 with Mediaharan and Spell Master.  I beat her on my first try.
