Emelious(G3) vs Sephiroth(FF7) - In my opinion, Emelious' and Sephiroth's speed don't vary significantly. However, in terms of damage input, Sephiroth can bag the win.

Heavy:

Arnaud(WA4) vs Chie(P4) - No comment.

Middle:

Venusaur(Pokemon) vs L'Arachel(FE8) - Just a wild draw of guesses.
White Wizard(FF1) vs Blastoise(Pokemon) - Heal and damage at the same time will own, least at this case.

1st turn Sword Creation and sustain a 50% HP boundary for her devious spell combo.

Heavy:

*Alena (DQ4)* vs Ephraim (FE8)  -  Speed difference. Ephraim was lucky enough if he got a chance to counter so.

*Masaji Kato (SH2)* vs Elieen (S1)  -  No Vote.

Middle:

*Peppita Rosetti (SO3)* vs *Tifa Lockheart (FF7)*  -  Super Combo Finish fails...

Isabel (S5) vs Jude Maverick (WA4)  -  No Vote.

In all RPGs I have played, Orphan (true form) is the only final boss that lasted for less than a minute, i.e. about 30 seconds.

Lots of final bosses die that fast. It's even more if you exclude the time you spend watching attack animations in some games. I think Sephiroth dies in five seconds of actual gameplay (and god knows how long of watching lensflare effects). Kefka can go down literally in the first turn your first character gets. Yadda yadda, long story short boss longevity has not been a hallmark of FF games, it just seems that way because their attacks take fucking FOREVER.

If Orphan goes down in less than a minute, it is at least less than a minute of actual gameplay, and not less than a minute of watching your attack make visual effects. For all its faults, FF13 had this going on: it kept the visual effects to a minimum.

(Sorry for the late reply... haha)

Whether we like it or not, the animation time of attacks are not excluded on the total amount of time elapsed in the final battle.

Also, the case of Orphan was pretty different than those of Safer Sephiroth and God Kefka. Being a Final Boss with more than 3 million hp, it
was still disappointing that I only took less than a minute to destroy him. Besides, of all the FF Final Bosses, he was the only one I've seen so far to have no immunity on the Death spell.

Note: Safer Sephiroth has 400000 as his max hp, God Kefka has 62000, True Ultimecia has 278900, and Orphan (true form) has 3390000. Well, compare what the others have to Orphan... His hp was just too high to be easily finished and it's a bit disappointing.

It really sounds kinda bad. FF13 may be good in some aspects such as graphics but, its flaws overrun it out.

The story is kinda good at a point. However, the final battle and ending is kinda wretched.

In all RPGs I have played, Orphan (true form) is the only final boss that lasted for less than a minute, i.e. about 30 seconds.

Also, some themes don't fit the event/moment being portrayed. Most notably, the final battle themes, Born Anew and Nascent Requiem, are placed in incorrect battles.

Ok...

I agree in terms of Lifstealer's Infest as useless in the DL, but in case of enemies with summons weak enough to be eaten, it will go the other way around.

Also, Shendelzare's Nether Swap ain't that useless in the DL.

In fact, it will help her for a favorable position. Consider the following cases of Nether Swap 1v1 uses:

1. It can be used to dodge a heavy attack or spell or whatsoever.

2. It can be used to prevent enemies with terribly high regeneration rate to get far and have a twist of fate. (Much more effective with Magic
 
    Missile.)

3. It can also be used to let her have an escape route by a sudden exchange of position and direction. (Also much more effective with Magic Missile

    and some slow reacting enemies.)

Note: Since Nether Swap is a support ability, most of its one on one uses also depends in combination with her other skills.

However, just a little changes and remakes must be done.

Seasons have come and have gone.

It's been some time this feat has been existing.

Just be positive in a sense.

In terms of Shendelzare Silkwood's Nether Swap:
It isn't useless at all. Its main purpose is for setting the enemy ranks in your field of advantage, though dangerous at some times. It can be also used to save yourself or your team in danger...

In terms of Lifestealer's Infest:
Same as of Nether swap, it is not completely useless. The only thing is... Infest don't fit his skill set. Nevertheless, Infest is still useful at strategical times, such as ambushes and runabouts, though not as useful compared to Nether swap in terms of team plays.
