Battlefield Flower. Song of the Ancients appeals to my personal tastes to a disgusting amount, with its percussion and instrumentation, but its general repetitiveness and the fact that I don't like the vocals all that much means that it loses out to Battlefield Flowers beautiful violin, constantly changing and interesting flow, and overall quality. Were Song of the Ancients less repetitive, it would be an easy win for it, but that's enough to tilt the scales against it, for me.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana- The Strongest Foe vs Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria- How Wicked Ruler: How Wicked Ruler is really really good.
Fire Emblem Fates- The End of All vs Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals- For the Savior: Fire Emblem Fates music, at least the ones in the tournament, seem to be very solid overall so far. I'm impressed.

Mega Man 2- Wily Stage 1+2 vs Wild ARMs XF- Intrude Upon Happiness, Plunder the Future: Wily continues to be classic for a reason.
Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies- Megalith ~Agnus Dei~ vs Tales of Xillia 2- If It’s For You ~Song 4 u~
Chrono Trigger- Singing Mountain vs Deemo- The Witch’s Invitation: Own nom bias straight up.
Shovel Knight- Strike the Earth! Plans of Passage vs Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War- The Unsung War: Would definitely love to see Shovel Knight music more, so I'll toss a vote when I can.

Imperishable Night- Love-Colored Master Spark vs Berserk Millennium Empire Arc: Chapter of the Holy Demon War- Sign: Love-Colored Master Spark continues to be fun.
Chrono Trigger- Battle with Magus vs NieR- The Wretched Automatons: In contrast with Wily above, in this case I'd rather give it to the less classic one. And also I might be slightly bitter at Battle with Magus for 'welcome to Godlike'-ing my nom.

Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru- The Prince’s Adventure vs .hack//GU Vol 1- Gentle Hands (English): Cute and energetic vs. chill and pretty mk. II. Chill and pretty wins out mk. II.
Hollow Knight- City of Tears vs Ducktales Remastered- Moon Theme: Still not really a fan of the Remastered version of Moon Theme.
Xenoblade Chronicles- Mechanical Rhythm vs Guilty Gear XX- Awe of She: Going with that I'm actually familiar with, as I feel like they're both pretty much equally good.

Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals- Battle 2 vs Okami- Reset ~Ending Theme~: I mean, the other song isn't necessarily BAD, but own nom bias and personal taste plays much more towards Reset.
Super Metroid- Lower Brinstar vs Speed of Doom (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Getaway: I'll certainly take it over the other song I guess.
Final Fantasy X- Someday the Dream Will End vs Bravely Default- Wicked Flight: Man I forgot Wicked Flight was this good.

Halo Wars- Insignificantia (All Sloppy- No Joe) vs Ori and the Blind Forest- Restoring the Light, Facing the Dark: I literally forgot which song was which when voting and had to relisten, which should tell you just how memorable these are. Not bad per say, just not memorable.
Project Diva Future Tone- Step Forward vs Tales of Graces- To a Sea of Dancing Snow: Ah, I see we're re-entering the Chill Snowy Music Zone. I remember that from round one.
White Knight Chronicles 2 - The Battlefield Flower (Violin Version) vs Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea- Scorpio: Damn, I forgot how good this song was.
Pokémon X/Y- Snowbelle City vs Adventures of Mana- Battle II: Snowbelle is actually one of my favorite town themes in Pokemon, but Battle II is a banger.

Drakengard 3- This Silence is Mine vs Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy- God In Fire: Neither are bad, but This Silence of Mine is slow and a bit droning, and God In Fire is NEITHER of those things.
Hellcore 2.0 (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Industry vs At the Frozen Depths of the Heart: Not much to say here, but At the Frozen Depths of the Heart is missing the actual game it comes from in the original post (WA5)
Bloodborne- Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Snowy Valak Mountain: Own nom bias, and also I just generally dislike most Bloodborne music.

Granblue Fantasy- New World Order vs Chrono Trigger- Corridors of Time: Hmm. Despite liking Corridors of Time quite a bit, the instrumentation on New World Order is great. Close one.
God Hand- God Hand vs Undertale- Death by Glamour: Humor value does not beat out g r a t u i t o u s j a m m i n g.
Dark Souls 2- Old Dragonslayer vs Trails of Cold Steel II- Phantasmal Blaze: Meh.

DDR SuperNova- Xepher vs NieR Automata- A Beautiful Song: I'm a little lukewarm on A Beautiful Song, and the other song was much better than I expected, so I'll toss my vote to it.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze- Mountain Mania vs Final Fantasy XIII- Blinded by Light: DKC song wasn't particularly bad, but Blinded by Light is just really good.
Final Fantasy VI- Dancing Mad (4th Segment) vs Deemo- Evolution Era: Good Dissonance + Jams = An easy vote.
Ori and the Blind Forets- Completing the Circle vs Undertale - Another Medium: Ori music is cute and I like the instrumentation, but I do really like Another Medium. EXTREMELY close though.

Crusader No Remorse- Main Menu vs Sid Meier's Civilization IV - Baba Yetu: Much less close than the above, though that's more to do with Baba Yetu being absolutely incredible than any fault of the other song.
Jazz Jackrabbit 2- Dark Groove vs Bravely Default- That Person’s Name Is: No real opinion here, just straight up a better song.
Transistor- The Spine vs Drakengard 3- The Final Song: Uuuuggggh. I don't want to vote against my favorite Transistor song, but The Final Song is just that good.
StarCraft 2- Terran Theme vs Xenogears- Small Two of Pieces: Not what I expected to vote here at all, but I could easily listen to the whole 30 minutes of the Terran Theme, while Small Two of Pieces is nice, but I definitely can't say that about it.

Undertale- Dummy! vs Castlevania: Symphony of the Night- Dracula’s Castle: Dummy! is a strong candidate for one of my favorite Undertale songs overall, which is not an easy thing to be.
Shadow of the Colossus- Demise of the Ritual vs No More Heroes 2- Philistine: Not exactly the hugest fan, but this is one of the completely non-interesting SotC songs to me, so it's good enough.
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma- Blue Bird Lamentation (2nd) vs  Bastion- Settling Sail, Coming Home: If the Bastion song was either Build That Wall or Mother, I'm Here on their own, this would've been a stomp even though I REALLY like the ZE song, but I'm just not a big fan of the layered vocals here. Actually, MOST of Bastion's soundtrack would've probably won here, but that's all personal bias. >_>
Metal Gear Solid 2- Main Theme vs SaGa Frontier- Last Battle T260G: Jams much harder. Much, much harder.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward- Metal vs  Fire Emblem Fates- Thorn In You: Didn't we just have this three pools ago? Oh wait no, that was ANOTHER song from the same battle with the same godawful voice synth. My bad. Generic FE music easily takes it.
Persona 3- The Battle for Everyone’s Souls vs Final Fantasy XIII- Fang’s Theme: This was actually VERY close, as Fang's Theme absolutely plays to my tastes, but Battle for Everyone's Souls is just... well, much cooler, and plays to my tastes in an entirely different direction.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King- Bronze Jam vs Caligula- Distorted Happiness: Utter stomp.
Ducktales Remastered- Mount Vesuvius Theme vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Crisis: And here we have arguably one of my favorite songs in general, let alone in video games. Easy vote, own nom bias and all.

Civilization V- Shoshone Sun Dance ~Pocatello War Theme~ vs NieR- Song of the Ancients ~ Fate: The first NieR song to break the pattern of disappointing follow-ups to incredible openings, for me at least. Stomp.
Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan- Battlefield: With Eyes Blazing vs Gradius 3 Arcade- Departure for Space: Hmm. Refreshingly cute and nice.
Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star- CLASS::EXSPHERE_NOSURGE vs Final Fantasy XV- Stand by Me: Well this is just mean. I actually really liked the other song.

Bloodborne- Hail the Nightmare vs Dark Souls- Gwyn, Lord of Cinder: Ah, there's the actual good Dark Souls song. Knew it was out there somewhere.
Child of Light- Aurora’s Theme vs Xenosaga: Also Sprach Zarathustra- Godsibb: Pretty 50/50 here, I'll go with the one that is less effort to listen to.
Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk- Just a Coffin and an Automaton vs Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~- Einherjar Rubedo: Both fantastic and better than expected, but I'll go with the one that plays more to my personal tastes.
Final Fantasy VII- One Winged Angel vs Path of Exile- The Grand Arena: Classic for a reason.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward- Locus vs Street Fighter II- Guile’s Theme: Guile's Theme is Guile's Theme, and I actively dislike the voice synth of the FF14 song.
Undertale- Hopes and Dreams vs Final Fantasy XIV- Brute Justice’s Theme: See above.
Deemo- Parallel Universe vs Suikoden III- Mysterious People: Unexpectedly nice. It reminded me of something, but I can't think of what it is.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask- Song of Healing vs Wild ARMs: Alter Code F- Murdering Princess: While I don't exactly dislike Song of Healing, I find the other song more interesting.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix- Flock Step vs Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Seas- Flying Clouds, Drifting Haze: Very nice sounding, probably my favorite or the Atelier series songs in the tournament so far.
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness- Toccata into Blood Soaked Darkness vs Final Fantasy XIV- Steel Reason: Speaking of best songs from things that have been nommed heavily, this is ALSO probably my favorite FF14 song.
Little Inferno- Reporting From the Weather Balloon vs  NieR Automata- Wretched Weaponry: Actually, this is probably one of my favorite NieR Automata songs so far as well, I just really like the other one.
NieR- Kainé/Salvation vs Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate- Noble Monster: Partial bias against vocal songs coming into play here, but I also just really like Noble Monster on its own.

Drakengard 3- The Final Song: Holy shit. One of the better songs in the entire tournament so far, imo.
Trails of Cold Steel- To Grasp Tomorrow: Just sorta nice in general.
Project Diva Future Tone- Arifureta Sekai Seifuku: Better than I was expecting.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island- Yoshi’s Island (World 6): Adorable and yet not something I'd actively go out of my way to listen to.
Persona 4  Arena- Heartful Cry (Arena Ver): Not bad, but the instrumentation rubs me the wrong way.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep- Aqua: :sleppy:
 

Slot 8

Xenogears- Small Two of Pieces: Genuinely beautiful.
Undertale - Bergentrückung/ASGORE: Was expecting this to win, but it's still definitely good enough to take second. Small Two of Pieces was just really good.
Fire Emblem Awakening- Id (Purpose): Good, but I'm not really a fan of the choir.
La-Mulana- Interstice of Dimension: Solid, but not exceptional.
DDR X- Switch: Definitely not my thing.
NieR Automata - End of the Unknown: Seemed like it was going somewhere interesting, and then let me down a bit. And then it let me down a lot.

Sid Meier's Civilization IV - Baba Yetu: Definitely not what I was expecting, but I love it.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent - Brennenburg Theme: This is certainly an atmosphere and a half. Love the instrumentation.
Sunlust (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Ocean Flute: Unique, and I also love the interesting instruments used.
NieR- Emil ~Karma~: About in the middle as far as NieR songs I've heard go, so... pretty good but not exactly my thing.
Wild ARMs 4- Buried City: Very, very, very, very repetitive. Still manages to be pretty good despite that.
Super Earth Defense Force- First Encounter: Cute... but not really something that stands up too well.
Bayonetta- You May Call Me Father: Feels very genericly epic, and doesn't actually suck me in at all.

Slot 6

Undertale- Undertale: Undertale.
Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of Dusk- MARIA: Not Undertale. Is good though.
Bravely Default- That Person’s Name Is: Not bad. Don't really have much to say aside from that.
Malicious Rebirth- Restraint: Pretty enough, but overstays its welcome. I was tired of it by the 5 minute point.
Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness- Cradle Over: Not really my jam.

Faster Than Light - Lanius (Battle): Definitely plays to my tastes hard. I love 'industrial' sounding effects.
Drakengard - Thirteenth Chapter (Closing): This is pure personal bias, but I just really love proper chimes and minimalism.
Deemo- Evolution Era: Very pretty. 'S all evocative and shit.
Radiant Historia- The Red Locus: Overall quite solid. Like the instrumentation.
Raiden V- Unknown Pollution: Would rank higher if it was more cut down, but feels a bit cluttered. I like the driving pace though.
Touhou Shinkirou ~ Hopeless Masquerade - The Lost Emotion: Enjoy the effects, but it feels like its missing something. It feels like the karaoke version of a song without lyrics.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Collective Consciousness: It's... okay.

Slot 4

Undertale - Another Medium: Definitely the best of the Undertale 'exploration' themes. Still doesn't compare to any of the boss themes.
Dangan Ronpa – DANGANRONPA: I actually just finished an LP of this, so it's a little stale for me, but I still like it. Much better songs on the soundtrack though.
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies- Pursuit ~Keep Pressing On~: Nice energy to it, but doesn't really do a lot for me specifically.
Final Fantasy XIV- Answers: A bit much for me.
Tokyo Mirage Session #FE- Boss Battle Theme 2: Probably my least favorite battle theme in the game, still like it though.
FTL: Faster Than Light - Mantis (Explore): Funky. Would be much better without the vocals, I feel.
Super Mario Kart- Donut Plains: Cute, but hasn't really aged well.

Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War- Zero: Much better than I was expecting, probably the only Ace Combat song so far that I've actually liked.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village - Layton's Theme: Cute and plays to my tastes.
Legend of Dragoon- If You Still Believe: Pretty nice overall.
NieR Automata- A Beautiful Song: Very slightly less pretty nice overall.
Diablo II= Tristram: Found it very boring.
NieR Automata - Possessed by Disease (machine vocals): B E C O M E  A S  G O D S
Final Fantasy X- Otherworld: I have never been more disappointed in the follow up to the first 30 seconds of a song.

Slot 2

Final Fantasy XIII- Blinded by Light: Just overall solid.
NieR Automata - Memories of Dust: Desert themed songs are something I have a soft spot for.
Lost Dimension- Farewell to a Friend: Definitely is Best In Mood for these pools, but not really my thing. Still can acknowledge it's quite good though.
Risk of Rain – Coalescence: Just genuinely enjoyable and inoffensive to listen to. Nothing really special, though.
Hotline Miami - Miami Disco: Catchy. That's p much it.
Doom 2016/Doom 4 - BFG Division: Music that sounds like Hans Zimmer having a bowel movement does not interest me in any way. However, it interests me more than...
Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Crazy Chocobo: This is certainly a thing that has entered my ears.

Tokyo 7th Sisters- Fire and Rose vs Radiant Historia- Where the Wind and Feathers Return: Kneejerk
Dark Souls- Moonlight Butterfly/Dark Sun Gwyndolin vs Super Mario Galaxy- Egg Planet: Fun bouncy atmosphere with good orchestral instrumentation, versus solo vocal piece with rather dark atmosphere. Personal tastes definitely tend towards the former.
Vanguard Bandits- Passion vs Chrono Trigger- Zeal Palace: z e a l
Front Mission 4- Pride and Honor vs Trails of Cold Steel- The Sounds of Rainfall at the Academy: Other song was surprisingly cute and relaxing, but my personal tastes tend much towards the former.

Bravely Default- Fighting to the End vs Mega Man 3- Protoman’s Theme: I actively dislike Protoman's Theme, so this is an easy vote for me.
Star Control 2- Through the Angles of Space vs Drakengard 3- The Rising Fool ~ Battlefield: Much better than I was expecting. They both have very similar feels to them, and I like them about the same, so I'll give it to the more interesting one.
Haunted Castle- Don’t Wait Until Night vs Undertale- Megalovania: Megalovania is a tough draw, but I actually really enjoyed the other song. Was neat.
Phantasy Star II- Under vs 100% Orange Juice- Peat’s Theme: Honestly just a quality preference here, I like the instrumentation in Peat's Theme.

Risk of Rain- Tropic of Cancer vs Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals- Battle 2: Honestly, I just found the former much more interesting. There's nothing WRONG with the other song, it's just very... fight music-y.
Xenosaga Der Wille Zur Macht – Margulis vs Okami- Reset ~Ending Theme~: Yep.
Dark Souls 3- Dragonslayer Armor vs Super Metroid- Lower Brinstar: As much as I'm a sucker for 'epic' music, the atmosphere of Lower Brinstar is absolutely incredible.
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne- The Tokyo Conception vs Speed of Doom (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Getaway

Mega Man X- Storm Eagle vs Final Fantasy X- Someday the Dream Will End: Unfortunately, MMX music is not my jam.
Bravely Default- Wicked Flight vs Portal 2- Bombs for Throwing at You
GENETOS- Origin vs Final Fantasy IX- Dark Messenger
Persona 5- Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There vs Undertale- Spear of Justice: Oof. Hurts to vote against any of the Undertale boss themes, but own nom shilling and general love of P5 music wins out here.

Pokémon Sun/Moon- League Title Defense vs Rogue Galaxy- The Galaxy Public Corporation
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon- Gotta Stay Fly vs  Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru- The Prince’s Adventure: Cute, and not actively unpleasant to listen to like the other song.
.hack//GU Vol 1- Gentle Hands (English) vs The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword- Lanayru Desert (Past): Other song isn't really my thing, so I'm free to shill for my own nom.

Hollow Knight- City of Tears vs Super Mario Galaxy- Bowser Battle Theme: ... Well this just further cements my need to play this game. That was beautiful.
Ducktales Remastered- Moon Theme vs Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire- Battle! Rayquaza: If this was the original moon theme, it would be very close, but I'm actually not really a fan of the remastered version. Plus, own nom shilling.
Persona 5- Last Surprise vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Mechanical Rhythm: Mechanical Rhythm isn't my favorite of the XBC battle themes, while Last Surprise IS my favorite Persona battle theme. Both very good though.
Guilty Gear XX- Awe of She vs  Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE- Event Battle: Didn't really get much from the GG song, but it wasn't bad.

Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel- EXEC_METEMPSYCHOSIS/. vs Drakengard 3- This Silence is Mine: Took a bit to grow on me, but less boring than the Drakengard song. Also, not Drakengard.
Super Metroid- Theme of Samus Aran, Galactic Warrior vs Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy- God In Fire: Ehhh, not my favorite Super Metroid song.
Kirby’s Dream Land- Bubbly Clouds vs Hellcore 2.0 (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Industry: Pretty much a straight 50/50 here, but I'll give it to Kirby because I've been neglecting it.
No More Heroes 2- Shoegazer Watched the Stars vs Wild ARMs 5- At the Frozen Depths of the Heart: Decided within 3 seconds of the WA5 song.

Bloodborne- Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower vs Soushu Senshinkan Gakuen Hachimyoujin- YEHOSHUA: This one could go either way depending on my mood tbh.
Final Fantasy VI- What? vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Snowy Valak Mountain: What?
