His innate resistance to thunder attacks should let him shrug off the worst of what the schoolboy's magical offense. Iruda's physicals are nothing to scoff at- even Dekar is staggered by his powerful attacks, let alone a mere kid like Akihiko. A swarm of fodder just gives Iruda plenty of shields in case things get tough- not that they will, his demonic powers are more than enough to crush an emo kid.
