Erk may only be a student, but he's about to do some serious teaching on what it takes to be a good mage here. Also having more experience with obnoxious female mages than he cares to have, this match plays to all his strengths. Shiho is slow. Slower than slow. While it cuts down on Erk's hard hitting reprisals, it does free him up to simply pound the Hai-Lanian songstress into dust at his own leisure, barely needing to crack open his books. The counter-attacks also all but guarantee a victory once Shiho does attack, as Shiho won't be able to stand up to Erk's magic for very long. In all, it'll be a win even Serra might vaguely consider thinking about maybecomplimenting the young, errant mage on. Possibly!
