I'm an optimist myself, but I'm strangely pessimistic about DL happiness.

Neutral-  I want to meet more people, but the best way to do that is through work, and I'm 9 years younger than anyone else in my office.  Also, my job is boring as hell, but at least I have a job that pays decent so I can't complain too much.

That, and because you tend to remember unusual things. For most people, unusual tends to mean bad. You know, like your car dying or the hot water heater bursting or whatever.
