After being so shamefully defeated by a lesbian swordgirl, Valeria finally returns to the Duelling League arena, ready to prove her duelling mastery against a new, less powerful division. This isn't particularly honorable, but the Falcon Rune master is ready to face whatever odds she is pitted against. And her first challenge, while a bit disheartening, is certainly not too difficult: the Paladienne Yulie Ahtreide is quite a powerful staller, but her terrible physical durability will be her undoing. Against the Falcon Rune's relentless flurry of stabs, Yulie is rather helpless, being forced into a painful heal-lock. And the minute Valeria lands a critical is the minute the match is over: Protect or not, a fierce strike such as that -will- fell the young lass. But such is the way of the battlefield. Valeria's no stranger to tragedy, and this will just be one among many.
