Xorn (Grandia III) vs Arceus (Pokémon): Good job reaching the Finals, Arceus, now you die against this overpowered freak.  No real strategy I can think of gives him a chance.  Cosmic Power gets countered by that weird status, and I'm pretty sure his magic was strong enough to deal with Ghost form.

If his magic sucked ass, then...uhh...yeah, I might have to rethink this fight!

A low 3HKO spell that's debatably either lightning or wind is his only magic attack. Adds up off the speed though.

If it's wind, rock or steel are good bets. If it's lightning, Arceus is likely SOL. Or maybe not? I don't really know him.

Low 3HKO spell? That...becomes 5HKO against Arceus, Recover should let him live through at least 2 shots before needing healing again...

Seems closer than I thought! Admittedly, Xorn still is much faster, for all that Arceus being fast himself might be able to offset that advantage some?  Eh, its closer than I thought at first admittedly.

Thinking Xorn beats Arceus. Arceus wishes he could either buff his damage or get status protection. Disease + the thunder/wind spell (need to see its animation again) is probably just too much pressure.

EDIT: And Melody beats Kid, yeah.

Mog (Final Fantasy VI) vs Jessica Philomele (Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis) - I was thinking Mog could win this with ID, but... the rate on that thing is pretty freaking low.  If I'm calcing this right, Mog doesn't get over a 50% chance of hitting with ID until... turn 4.  I think Jess can kill within 3 turns, offhand?
