Meganium ( vs Margulis)
« on: July 11, 2008, 07:51:00 PM »
The Herb Pokémon is not the most aggresive of beasts, but what Pokémon doesn't love a friendly battle?  Unlike the friendly and flighty space sidekick Meganium last faced however, Margulis is a ruthless fighter, offering no quarter and offended should it be granted.  His mastery of various fiery sword arts is additionally of great concern to the Grass-typed Meganium, but that's not going to stop a good fight from happening!  Even when striking a weakness, Margulis' assault is far from awe inspiring, and Meganium's Razor Leaf will punish him severely for attempting any Clone-based strategies.  With Synthesis to fall back on, Reflect is sufficent to ward off Margulis' unassisted assault, and attempting to wield Seal of Immobility is a less than viable strategy with Meganium's competent offense and speed.  In all, it's Meganium's match to lose, and losing to someone like Margulis is hardly the way a respectable Pokémon would live.
