Revenge is a sweet word. Maxim's not the type to hold a grudge, but the stinging blow of getting one- just one- Godlike match and losing to Menardi?! That's a hard pill to swallow. Through fate (And perhaps a certain recent Godlike champion holding a bitter grudge), Maxim will get a chance to avenge that loss from so long ago. Menardi relies on instant death to win her fights, something of no use against Maxim. What's more, her damage is about as respectable as Golden Sun plot, leaving her open to Maxim's deadly IPs. Wave Motion? Brilliance? All fatal, and all options. Outlasting Maxim's not an option, and outdamaging him is as likely as.. well, Menardi champing Godlike a second time.
