Timelord (SaGa) vs. Cloud of Darkness (FF3) - Durable boss, TL, etc.

Riou (S2) vs. Georg Prime (Suikos) - Faster, boomies.

Jet Enduro (WA3) vs. Rude (FF7) - Strong kneejerk here. Two smacks + Gatling should handle Rude, and he doesn't 2HKO Jet... I don't think.

Riou (S2) vs. Georg Prime (Suikos): Even if you see Georg as faster, Riou is modestly durable, so Georg isn't OHKOing (barring unusually good luck). The reverse isn't true.


Middle

Boyd (FE9) vs. Beowulf Kadmus (FFT): Res isn't really Boyd's thing.


Light

Jet Enduro (WA3) vs. Rude (FF7): What Snow said + don't forget Jet's evade.

Heavy

Riou (S2) vs. Georg Prime (Suikos) - Sure, Georg goes first. Doesn't OHKO. Forgiver Sign does not have that problem.


Middle

Boyd (FE9) vs. Beowulf Kadmus (FFT) - Well deserving of that middle champ. Good run for Boyd, but Beo's just not his kind of fight.


Light

Jet Enduro (WA3) vs. Rude (FF7) - Yay!

Rude does 2200 damage. PCHP is... 5000 against Sephiroth, and Rude isn't that much earlier. Now, you can take materia modifying HP figures in either direction; personally, I assume that positive and negative balance out. Jet is fine as long as average HP at the time is above... 4700 or so, on raw comparisons.

It may not be. It's really close. That said, Jet gains a slight amount of durability each round, which probably pushes him over the top. And there's the possibility of evasion and criticals, or that Rude straight up dies to two Jet attacks. I can see voting Rude here, but overall I really think that Jet is the favourite in quite a few ways.

Jet Enduro (WA3) vs. Rude (FF7) - How is this the Light finals match? Gut leaning Jet but I have Rude durability respect. (Just, um, not damage as much.) I'll look this one over, but inclination is two physical+Gatling will in point of fact handle this.

Ahaha, I can technically vote this now, I just picked up WA3 two days ago and started to play and have been going non-stop.

I'll lean Rude on this one. Rude can take a lot of punishment, and I think he'll just squeak by Jet.
