There still ought to be...
« on: March 09, 2009, 01:39:05 AM »
Yeah, I'm remaking my "wacky ass ideas" topic, because a friend and I had a really good one for a Final Fantasy game.

All right. The concept is, you play as characters representative of the B or C list classes of the Final Fantasy series, and every character has equal access to a grid of the "main" classes. So everyone can do anything, but they can only do it within the extent of their class.

Ex:
Your dragoon can cast black magic--he just does it from the sky. He'll cast a big spell, but it'll go off a turn and a half later.

Your Swordmage/Sorcerer can do whatever--he just has to set it up first. Need healing? Smack your enemies with the Cure Sword.

Give an Archer steal, and they have 100% success... they just have to aim and....

You have a Berserker, who does more than attack, but he only does it under CPU control, and only to the enemies. Give him "Cure" and he'll randomly demolish undead with it.

And so on.

An RPGDL TCG.

(Your idea actually does sound pretty cool. I'd play it)

19:35:58 (trancehime) there's a specific spot in the game that's for item duping
19:36:14 (Sanae) o.o
19:39:11 (Sanae) I'd love to dupe a second trancehime.
