Ghaleon is many things; while sometimes villainous, let it never be said that he is prejudiced. Able to see potential where many did not, he was able to recruit members of the scorned Vile Tribe to his cause, and certainly worked well enough with the beastman Master Mel in his original adventures. Ghaleon certainly appreciates the monstrous tribes of Tellius as potential allies as well; he's plenty of money, if that's what they want. Of course, sage Ghaleon also knows one of the most important rules of running your monster army: always be able to "control" them. For instance, the ravens of Kilvas possess a horrendous weakness to being blown away by wind magic. They'll certainly be forced to respect a leader who could easily kill them all with doublecast Tornado. A brief demonstration of this effect should be quite salutary for morale, no?
