Status whoring? Pish. Edgar is the king (literally) of status strategies, mastering the Air Anchor and Noiseblaster when Hugo was still a gleam in his yet to be discovered father's eye. All that stands between Edgar and a title is one round of Hugo's attacks. His True Fire Rune's spells are entirely negated by Edgar's Red Jacket, and one physical chain isn't even close to enough to do in the (rather durable) King. All of Hugo's hopes rely on hitting with his unreliable Wind of Sleep spell, made less accurate than usual by Edgar's magic evade boosting Enhancer. As Edgar avoids one status attack, he promptly confuses Hugo, and then watches as Lucia's son cuts himself to ribbons. A noble victory, well past due for one of the true gentlemen of Heavy.
