S29 came up again, so I just used the semifinalists instead of the finalists for this. The field looks pretty balanced, so we should get a good idea who is the strongest here!

Fogel (OB) vs Royce (Lunar:SSSC)
Fogel vs Rapp (G1)- Even if G1 techs are evadable, Fogel's going second and isn't going to one round Rapp.
Fogel vs Auron (FFX)- The evasion, it burns. ITD damage helps Auron a hell of a lot here, but it isn't enough with the turnsplit and Fogel damage.
Fogel vs Wugui (SH1)- GoD is turn two here, which Wugui can't afford.
Fogel vs Rubicant (FF4)- Um. Mmm. Fogel needs to tank a Glare (Check. Barely, but check.) and evade one of three Glares to win. Does three Fogel rounds kill Rubicant? Sure, that sounds about right. Rubicant's counters aren't enough to tip this thanks to Fogel defense.  
Fogel vs Ultros (FF6)- One rounds Opera house, nothing else can really threaten him.
Fogel vs Teepo (BoF3)
Fogel vs Slust (OB)
Fogel vs Zed (WA1)
Fogel vs Lady Harken (WA1)
Fogel vs Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6)- Don't think I see Fogel's innate charm immunity extending to Noise Blaster.
Fogel vs Hugo (S3)- Resists everything Hugo does by too much.

Lassic (PS4) vs Royce (Lunar:SSSC)- Goes first.
Lassic vs Rapp (G1)
Lassic vs Auron (FFX)- Halved Anothergate is still enough.

Thunder Halberd's awesome 4HKO to average thunder damage is physical. Considering the durability split, though, it's enough to handle Wugui.

Fogel vs Rapp (G1) - Don't see Rapp as faster, and Fogel 2HKOs.
Fogel vs Auron (FFX) - Even with Power Down... um.
Fogel vs Wugui (SH1) - GoD becoming turn two = lol.
Fogel vs Rubicant (FF4) - This is a bit much.
Fogel vs Ultros (FF6) - Welp.
Fogel vs Teepo (BoF3) - Teepo does not like that level of physical slugfesting. Ask him about how Alena and Emily hand him his ass.
Fogel vs Slust (OB) - Yeah.
Fogel vs Zed (WA1) - Um.
Fogel vs Lady Harken (WA1) - Blocker ignores accuracy and Fogel can't chip Harken with physicals. He's hitting some absolutely disgusting Maximum Risks there.
Fogel vs Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) - Shaves off too much that first round.
Fogel vs Hugo (S3) - I guess. Good fight.

Lassic (PS4) vs Royce (Lunar:SSSC) - Fries.
Lassic vs Rapp (G1) - No frying for Rapp.
Lassic vs Auron (FFX) - Booms.
Lassic vs Wugui (SH1) - 4HKO DAMAGE PHYSICALS AW YEAH
Lassic vs Rubicant (FF4) - UM.
Lassic vs Ultros (FF6) - Suspect he can take Ultros down well enough.
Lassic vs Teepo (BoF3) - About 1x PC HP more than Teepo probably ekes this in Lassic's favor, and he deals better damage to boot until Teepo's 50% range. Not to mention the practical damage boost might be only 1.25x due to how Sirocco works.
Lassic vs Slust (OB) - Magic is the right type of damage to hit Dragoons with... relatively.
Lassic vs Zed (WA1) - Wow.
Lassic vs Lady Harken (WA1) - Mageys.
Lassic vs Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) - Bosseys.
Lassic vs Hugo (S3) - Hugo just doesn't have enough resources. Lassic constantly 2HKOs.

Scias (BoF4) vs Royce (Lunar:SSSC) - Birdyman.
Scias vs Rapp (G1) - Immunes the ID. Rapp loses the attrition battle.
Scias vs Auron (FFX) - Status more or less covers Scias.
Scias vs Wugui (SH1) - No spoiling.
Scias vs Rubicant (FF4) - Frying.
Scias vs Ultros (FF6) - Tentacling.
Scias vs Teepo (BoF3) - Heal-locks nicely. Scias lacks the resources to stay afloat against big heal-locks that aren't abysmally slow.
Scias vs Slust (OB) - Yeah.
Scias vs Zed (WA1) - And again.
Scias vs Lady Harken (WA1) - Christ, ice magic. Chip-2HKOs. Granted, Harken also borderline 2HKOs and is faster, but...
Scias vs Edgar Roni Figaro (FF6) - Hmmm, can Scias resist Confuse?
Scias vs Hugo (S3) - Wins the assumptions. Scias sucks at hitting him, Sleep will miss sooner than later and Hugo 2HKOs him off the bat with a probably faster physical.

Scias really sucks at hitting Harken with Blocker. Shining Blade isn't ITE, just 100% base hit rate, and his supposed ITE weapon (is it even ITE?) isn't ice-elemental. So yeah, he sorta does need the magic. Granted, a single Shining Blade hit (it's two hits, after all) could sensibly OHKO Harken, but given Scias is -dead- if both hits miss -or- if one hit misses and the other fails to OHKO, I am not inclined to give him the benefit of doubt if he decides to play frisky.

BoF4 males generally can't immune most statuses outright, just resist them by 50%. Don't think this helps against perfect confusion myself. Straight status immunity is generally a female quirk in BoF3-4.
