Problem is hosting SF will be complicated. Gate is out as a host for very comprehensible reasons, and I think none of the other BAers have the logistics chops for it.

Apparently you buy them in a Battle Royale madness that you sign in for months in advance - and there's no guarantee you'll end up with a ticket (I considered the hypothesis myself, but I had -just- missed the deposit deadline). Ashley knows the details.

They had a mini-Battle Royale for pre-sale to returning ComicCon goers in August, but the general sale is open on Saturday. You needed to register for an account on their website by yesterday, however, so it looks like you're SOL for the battle on Saturday unless you already happened to have had an account.
