When was the first time you flew in an airplane? Was it by yourself?First time I can
recall was when I was 5, though I must have flown a few times from age 0-3. I'll let you guess if these were by myself or not. First time I can recall flying by myself was for a school trip to Halifax when I was 16; there was some reason I had to leave on a different flight from my friends but I don't recall what it was.
Do you prefer flying or travelling for a long distance vacation?Generally, flying. Driving for that long gets tiring.
Do you read up about cultures/the area before you visit?Nope.
Do you plan your trips in detail, or tend to leave things more open ended?The latter, beyond things like start and end dates.
What's the longest you've been away from home on a vacation?Two months (all summer when I was 10, went to Europe).
