Grand Master is so confident in his ability to win this match he is saying he'll go into the fight weaponless. Okay, so he always fights without a weapon (if he knows what's good for him); Grand Master never was the sharpest tool in the shed, but then you don't need wits when you've got punch. He does one thing and one thing only: hit hard. And this is the bane of any Final Fantasy Tactics character, all of them having varying degrees of durability woes. Even worse, Wiegraf is unable to assume his zodiac form for this battle, leading to further trouble for him. Furthermore, since Grand Master has no equipment to break, most of Wiegraf's arsenal is worthless to him. Guess who specializes in matches reduced to regular attacks? Grand Master, of course!
