Max was looking forward to this fight. Ike was everything that Max wasn't. Ike had all the fame. Even though Max was the star of more SRPGs, and had multiple princesses fawning after him, and he did the 'my brother-in-disguise wants to kill me' plot twist WAAAY before Ike... What was it that made Ike so much more popular? It had to be the catchphrase. Well, Max can fight for his friends, too!
