Rofel (vs. Ernst)
« on: January 01, 2010, 04:56:13 PM »
As Vormav's right hand man with such depth in personality and...ok, now we're just lying.  Rofel's about a generic a henchman can be while still being important enough that people can almost care about him.  But why does this matter?  He holds Save the Queen, smashes people's equipment, and mocks physical damage, which is exactly what his opponent does to him.  After all, when a man can randomly go under the name Loffrey and people still somehow recognize him, that says everything DESPITE the genericness, RIGHT!?
[21:39] <+Mega_Mettaur> so Snow...
[21:39] <+Mega_Mettaur> Sonic Chaos
[21:39] <+Hello-NewAgeHipsterDojimaDee> That's -brilliant-.

[17:02] <+Tengu_Man> Raven is a better comic relief PC than A

As Vormav's right-hand man with a moving and tragic backstory where he now finds himself thrust into the arena, Rofel ... okay, no, depth is not one of Rofel's strong points. Rofel has a sword, and he beats people down with it (or impales, in the case of unfortunate high priests). He's otherwise about as generic as a henchman can get. Fortunately, this is no disadvantage in the ring of honor, where his Save the Queen and innate defenses bestow him absurd physical durability, and he smashes people's equipment to bits or Silence Songs them into uselessness. Loffrey's about to make a showing this season, two-bit plot status be damned.
