Isolde Schelling (MK) vs Zeromus (FF4): They're similar enough in speed and durability, but Isolde can pile on somewhat more damage at both high and low health and her good moves unlock sooner.
Chaz Ashley (PS4) vs Lulu (FFX): Chaz's ID hits MDef so it misses turn 1.
Souji Seta (Pers4) vs Virgil (XS1): Perfect accuracy stop set up by an HP buffer. There isn't even stop in P4 so no way Souji can block it.

Heavy:

Saki Inugami (SH2) vs Kyra Tierny (PS4): Silence on turn 2 at worst, then beat Kyra's face in. Warla's a wash and Kyra doesn't blitz things.

Middle:

Neimi (FE8) vs Gaff Gafgarion (FFT): Depends if Neimi kills in 4 hits - 1 night sword drain, I figure. think killers do it.

Light:

Vincent DeBoule (S2) vs Poshul (CC): 2HKOs and heal locks with a basic chain.

Chaz Ashley (PS4) vs Lulu (FFX): He goes first, so his chances of winning via the ID are much better than hers.
Souji Seta (Pers4) vs Virgil (XS1): Well that is about the worst draw he could get in the season.

Heavy:

Artea (Lufia 2) vs Shu (AtLC): Easy. 2HKO or something.
Rofel Wodring (FFT) vs Ernst (S5): Silence I guess.
Saki Inugami (SH2) vs Kyra Tierny (PS4): Seal is 100% so she gets it off and wins.
Ike (FE9) vs Max (SF1): Max's damage is awesome. So is Ike's, and he has those doubles and ranged attacks and nutty pdur and chances for Crit/Aether and so on and so forth and yeah this is a slaughter.

Middle:

Grobyc (CC) vs Long Chan Chan (S2): Like I care.
Neimi (FE8) vs Gaff Gafgarion (FFT): Not sure where I would see Gaff's speed. If he is fast he can win I guess, if slow he loses. Probably slow.
Odin (PS1) vs Cid Highwind (FF7)
Ken Amada (Pers3) vs Guy (FE7): I think? Seems right.

Light:

Luke fon Fabre (TotA) vs Algus Sadalfas (FFT): No.

Grobyc (CC) vs Long Chan Chan (S2)- LC Chan can halve darkness and that completely fucks Grobyc's tech damage over. He has a ton of HP as well and generally good stats backing it up.
Neimi (FE8) vs Gaff Gafgarion (FFT)- Surprisingly enough, Gaf 2HKOs and his shield/HP/draining should keep him alive to that point. Neimi is just bad against physicals she can't evade.
Odin (PS1) vs Cid Highwind (FF7)

Light:

Luke fon Fabre (TotA) vs Algus Sadalfas (FFT)- Algus really needed weapon break. And to not suck in general.
Jogurt (SF1) vs Chidori (Pers3)- Jogurt clause.
Vincent DeBoule (S2) vs Poshul (CC)- CC is good at overwhelming healers in light.

Isolde Schelling (MK) vs Zeromus (FF4): Also obvious. Isolde vs. Fou-Lu should be interesting.
Chaz Ashley (PS4) vs Lulu (FFX): Explode hits Mental, actually; though moot since Lulu has both. Anyway, disagree with Pyro because Doublecast Death almost always hits while Explode against Lulu-level Mental isn't impressive.

Heavy:

Rofel Wodring (FFT) vs Ernst (S5): Silence Song.
Saki Inugami (SH2) vs Kyra Tierny (PS4): Opens with Warla to stop the Energy Charge OHKO, and Seal doesn't stop Kyra's Medice.
Ike (FE9) vs Max (SF1): Ike doesn't double Max, but he does counter. That probably tilts things, Max is better on raw damage but not enough.

Middle:

Grobyc (CC) vs Long Chan Chan (S2): Copying Dhyer, since I have higher S2 damage respect.
Neimi (FE8) vs Gaff Gafgarion (FFT): Gaf isn't even close to 2HKOing (no hype for temps just because they're around before Orlandu and Worker join! Gaf is just lucky I don't hold him to the boss form). So Neimi has to 6HKO Gafgarion's HP + 2 Night Sword Drains. Better than two Night Sword Drains normally because it hits Neimi's Def. Granted, Gaf has a shield. Do I see the shield stopping one hit in 6? Sure do. I guess Neimi could win with crits but meh, lowers her accuracy more which she doesn't like. Open to an argument that shows that the crits clearly help even with the risk of missing, but otherwise...

Light:

Luke fon Fabre (TotA) vs Algus Sadalfas (FFT): Think Luke's the better slugger.
Mist (FE9) vs Wilder (S3): Mist isn't very good. Counters make her less bad, though? Mm... gutting this though.
Vincent DeBoule (S2) vs Poshul (CC): Like I care.

Isolde Schelling (MK) vs Zeromus (FF4) - I raise an eyebrow to Zeromus having more durability than Isolde, even. They aren't even far apart on raw HP and she has far more notable defenses - not to mention the damage edge on both phases. Zeromus doesn't even 2HKO average at his strongest.
Chaz Ashley (PS4) vs Lulu (FFX) - See Elfboy - Explode is quite probably turn three against Lulu Magic/MDef, her ID is turn one without a hitch against Chaz.
Souji Seta (Pers4) vs Virgil (XS1) - The HP buffering works today, so Virgil gets to drop that perfect accuracy Stop and laugh.

Artea (Lufia 2) vs Shu (AtLC) - 2HKOs, Shu can't really do anything to stop that.
Rofel Wodring (FFT) vs Ernst (S5) - Ernst curses being unable to benefit from S5 equipment cheese.

Grobyc (CC) vs Long Chan Chan (S2) - Man.
Neimi (FE8) vs Gaff Gafgarion (FFT) - Eeeeh. I guess Neimi defenses save Gaff.
Odin (PS1) vs Cid Highwind (FF7) - Odin is so great at chipping.
Ken Amada (Pers3) vs Guy (FE7) - Ken's ID is inaccurate enough. Think that, even making multiple checks, Luck and MDef cancel out enough to me to make the ID turn two at best, and Ken only gets one shot.

Given how PS4 skills aren't Silenceable in-game either, the argument can be made to the other way. That and there's no differentiation skillset-wise between SH physical skills and magical skills - and that distinction clearly exists in PS4. That can go back and forth for ages.

It's worth noting that you need to see the DefUp as letting Kyra survive 1.5 PC HP damage at that for the Silence argument to even be relevant.

SH2 silence doesn't get anything that doesn't consume MP. Between that and the fact that it is an in-game advantage of Medice that it can't be hit by Seals, not to mention the immense ease with which Saki's status is blocked, I am very unlikely to entertain the idea of SH2 silence being some awesome kill-all status.

Hmm... I'm leaning towards it hitting Kyra's Esper abilities, personally. If for no other reason than because PS4 makes such a big deal about Espers being the only ones left who use 'true magic', and that the 'techniques' that the rest of galaxy uses are actually some kind of lower-level psychic energy meant to copy 'true magic'. (It annoys me that they chose to use the term ESPer for someone who isn't just using psychic abilities, but whatever.)

Also... I can't think if SH2 had any special abilities that weren't powered by MP...? >.>;;
