Articuno ( vs Edea )
« on: January 15, 2010, 04:04:26 PM »
Where one has fallen, another rises to take the challenge. Although Suicune was unable to take down Edea, Articuno is determined to prove that the legendaries of the Pokémon world are not inferior to a Sorceress. It is true that Articuno and Suicune do not differ much in terms of magical durability or speed; but Articuno possesses abilities that Suicune does not. The legendary bird has options in Mind Reader, followed by Sheer Cold to turn Edea into nothing but an ice statue; and if that strategy won't find purchase, the bird has but to raise its speed to legendary heights with Agility and then pummel away at Edea with Ice Beams and Blizzards.
