Isolde Schelling (MK) vs Cloud of Darkness (FF3): This is very close. Baasically, I see Isolde killing on turn 3, but it involves timed cards which have built up. While I imagine Isolde's third turn comes before Cloud of Darkness' third, it's worth noting that her first comes later than Cloud's first. I guess the question I have is, exactly how fast do timed cards "at 1.0" happen? I assume it means one round, but is that one round for average, or one round for Isolde's speed? The former doesn't lap Cloud of Darkness, most likely, which costs Isolde the match. The latter means she should be fine. Isolde isn't a huge fan of this match since Cloud gets away from the worst limit-related horrors by buffing with Haste before beginning the smashing.

Guy (FE7) vs Sharon (S3): Guy can mostly get around the evade, but still hates the Def. And the weapon triangle hurts some too. He doesn't like Wind of Sleep much, I figure. I guess if you see him countering as he wakes up he does a bit better, but I don't.

Luke Fon Fabre (TotA) vs Tia (Lufia 2): Someone convince me on this match I don't care about.

Luke Fon Fabre (TotA) vs Tia (Lufia 2)- Luke's damage is average, so no OHKO to Tia. Even without doubles, he'll just run out of MP trying to force anything. With doubles, she gets the defense boosting, which gives her 80% Pdur instead of 50%. Funny enough, half bars could help him more by giving him ability to actually get an MA before running out of juice.

1.0 is one of Isolde's turns.  Comparing to average is much more difficult so I just compared all timed cards to the user's speed.

Ike (FE9) vs Ness (EB) - Durability of the Gods + Ike is status-bait. I really don't see any way for Ike to win this.

Guy (FE7) vs Sharon (S3) - Sharon beating Noa is a big question mark to me. Seriously, how many people allow Yellow Scarves to the entire Suikoden 3 cast? It's difficult enough to get 6 Yellow Scarves, and that's only if hold to 'if there's enough to go around for a full party, it's legal' for a universal accessory no less. And then when you take into account the number of multiple party scenarios in the game (including the final dungeon) and the war battles, when everyone wants one and there's roughly 5x the number of people in a regular battle... I'm lenient on equips, but this one's ridiculous to me.

She beats Guy no problem, though.

Guy (FE7) vs Sharon (S3): WoS, maybe Funeral Wind or just smack while he's snoozing, and Sharon's damn hard to take down with straight-up physicals.

Only thing I can vote on is Ike v Ness, which is pretty one sided for me. I think Ike can actually get a Critical and Ness will *still* survive to PSI Flash his ass (granted, he comes really close to dying!). So uh...yeah.

Well damn. Why did I have to spend all that time trying to get it to drop from that damn treasure boss. I specifically remember the Yellow Scarf was a rarity item in the shops, too. I guess I just never went back to the Zexen shop in Ch5...

Probably would have made it a lot easier... >.>;;
