With his rival duking it out in the Heavy league, Crowley has something to prove this season. Namely, that Crowley himself is not to be trifled with, and so rightfully deserves a place equal to or greater than Mazus. With no other means to convince the judges, juries and various audiences of this, the archmagician will be forced to unleash the tormenting powers of his thousand Runes on a poor, innocent young dancer. Showbiz is tough, as they say, so at least Peppita's already prepared for her coming disappointment in the arena no matter how talented she may actually be as a dancer. A few Shining Winds will illuminate the folly of the management, and all will be enlightened to Crowley's rightful place - as a powerful magician and soon to be champion of the Middle division.
