No one else was doing this, so I figured I'd give it a shot.  I only have notes for the PCs at the moment.  I will note that there are some spoilers here.  I can't avoid them, so I won't try.

Battle System
The game uses a Grandia-esque battle system.  There's an ATC bar split into two areas, the break area and the normal area.  Characters and enemies start on the left side of the normal area and move to the right.  Once they hit the right edge, they take a turn, which happens immediately (there are a few exceptions) and then appear on the left side of the normal area.

All PCs have two attack commands, Charge and Break.  Break pushes the opponent towards the left side of the bar, delaying their turn.  If the opponent goes into the break area, they get Break status and are stunned.  While stunned, the enemy moves slower and every attack criticals.  Successive break attacks don't push the enemy back as far, so no INFINITE TURNS!! hype.  Once the enemy takes a turn, this is reset.

I'm not sure how effective a Break attack is, but just eyeballing it, I'd say the first Break pushes an enemy back 50% of a turn and it's cut in half every use afterwards.  Also, any attack that has "Knockback effect" follows the same rules as Break.

Skill Points always start at 1 at the beginning of the battle.  Characters gain more by using the Charge attack command, defending, or being hit.

Charge adds .5 points.
Defend adds .1 points.
Not sure how much being hit does, but I think it's .1 per hit.


Note:  Charge and Break don't take a full turn.  Charge actually takes around .9 turns and Break takes around 1.1 turns.  These haven't been tested, as I was just eyeballing it. As far as I know, all skills take a normal turn, but I was paying attention.

Field Effects
Some skills/items leave field effects, which persist over time.  A field effect will move accross the ATC bar and take the same action when it gets to the right side, and then appears on the far left side (meaning it takes 1.5 turn to get all the way accross rather than 1).  They cannot be targeted or dispelled and persist when the user dies.  They last for 5 turns, including the one that is cast (i.e. the effect happens, then again after 1.5 turns, again, again, and again).  I'm not sure how fast these things move, but Viese's moved slightly faster than she did.

(Note:  All field effects are MT.)

Mana Items
Anyone can use mana items, but only Felt and Viese can make them.  In addition, they can make them in battle and use them on the same turn.  However, skills that boost a mana item's effects must use an item created before battle, and only Viese has these skills.  I allow all these since only Felt and Viese can make them in battle, and the boosting skills are unique.  Creating a mana item initially requires other items, but afterwards only requires elements.  Up to 99 elements of each kind may be held at one time, and all of them are fairly common, with the exception of Life.  There are 200 Life elements floating around, and some can be gotten from Elemental Extraction in battle, so it's too unreasonable to assume 99 Life elements as well.


Weapons
Weapons are forged with the old weapon and an item.  The weapon takes on the qualities of the item, but since these qualities can vary a lot, I throw them out.

Accessories
Each character can equip two accessories.  A few are storebought, while a lot of them are created through Synthesis.  A lot of these can be created with storebought items, mana items, or gathered items on the field (which are generally really common and infinite). I assume all of these are allowed.  I'll list them after the PCs and before the averages.

Skills
Skills are learned by equipping Alchemy Items and fighting to earn SP.  Very much like Final Fantasy IX.  A lot of skills the whole cast has (they mostly just boost stats), while some are specific to a few characters, and some are unique.  It's entirely possible for every character to learn every skill they can by endgame levels (except Viese).

Weapon skills work the same way, except with weapons instead of alchemy items, and thus are all unique.

Here are the universal skills:

Experience UP: Increase experience after battle!  (Yay?)
ATTACK UP: Increases attack stat by 20%, after equipment (already factored in).
DEFENSE UP: Increases defense stat by 20%, after equipment (already factored in).
SPEED UP: Increases speed stat by 20%, after equipment (already factored in).
RESIST UP: Increases resistances by 20%, after equipment (already factored in).
SP UP: Increase SP after battle! (Used for learning skills.  Yay?)
Defense: Lowers damage taken.
Offense: Increase damage (already factored in).
Guts: Gives a chance to revive at 1 HP (Tests were giving me a 60% rate, which is much more than I thought.

The rest I'll put in with their respective users.

That's that, now onto the stats.

LIFE:  How many lives you have.  If you run out, game over.  Insert more quarters.
Attack:  How hard you hit.
Magic:  I'm not sure if this affects magic, magic defense, or both, but I think it's only magic.
Defense: The higher the number, the less damage you take.  Simple, no?
Speed:  How fast you are.  I believe this is linear.
F Res:  Resistance to fire attacks.
I Res: Resistance to ice attacks.
L Res: Resistance to lightning attacks.
D Res: Resistance to dark attacks.

I'll use this format:
Base + Equips = Total

All levels are taken at 38, with the exception of the final character, who was at level 30 (she joins at level 1 while everyone else is at 30 or so, but got to 30 before everyone got to 38).  I will probably get her level 38 stats eventually.

All damage values were tested at the final boss.  Why the final boss?  Because it was the only enemy I could find that didn't have highly variable resistances.  Also, there are lots of different randoms in the final dungeon, so testing on one of those would require getting into a lot of filler fights.  For reference, his defensive stats are:

Magic: 700 (this is why I don't think it doubles as magic defense).
Defense: 100
F Res: 175
I Res: 200
L Res: 150
D Res: 500 (good thing the PCs don't have dark based attacks...)

As you can see, F/I/L Res are only spread out by 50 points, which is the best I could do without having to bash my head into a wall.  I'll also note that the defense is probably low compared to endgame randoms, while the resistances are probably high (but the variance in the randoms messes up the averages).  If anyone can find a better testing subject, let me know.
