Why so serious?  Just because he's crazy looking, crazy crazy, and just a weeeeeeee bit on the mad side, there's nothing necessarily horrible about dressing up like a clown, planning the deaths of multiple citizens, mentally scarring heroes...uh...nevermind >_>

Not adverse to killing his own family to write his own path, Vayne still maintains a semblence of decorum and competence in a sea of character apathy and failure.  With the power of a god on your side, that's to be expected.  Sanity vs. Madness...which makes the better bastard?

Man, 4 seasons worth of crazy preparedness in his plans to free Lucifer...he succeeds in killing the main characters several times, dealing with their souls, and maintaining a continuous mind-screw is pretty respectful, even for a demon.

The Doctor is a bastard...with the power to transcend death itself.  And a bunch of crazed rabbits on his side.  And an AWESOME hat.  Fear the medical profession indeed.

Cobra Commander vs. Dr. Blight- Both fail hard and cobra commander can vary. Dr Blight has a cool name and fighting Captain Planet gets bonus points. Best of the Eco villains.

Of course I'm not suggesting all Fat guys in black trenchcoats with bowler hats that use canes are pedophiles (Though most are) but the look on his face is what pulls it off.

I'm sorry, but GI Joe is superior to Captain Planet, so by extension, Cobra Commander beats out Dr. Blight.

Umm....er...I've seen the Clock Tower 3 LP and I've seen about 70% of Battlefield Earth.  I regret doing both too, except that the former had TDI to make it more interesting.  Yeah, lets go with CT3 for that reason.

No, that's now I remember it.  Dick was obsessed with becoming an Entity, so he let Burroughs possess him, and the Dark Gentlemen was basically Burroughs but in the body of Dick.  The boss fight is even called Lord Burroughs I believe.  Its pretty clear that Dick had the same intentions, but he wasn't "pulling strings."

Burrough's power and henchman are what being used but Dick is clearly in charge or at least greatly influencing the situation. Maybe "Pulling strings" was the wrong term to use but its hard to believe Burroughs is the main guy in charge when his motives and dialog are so Dick-like.
