Meganium (vs Guy)
« on: May 07, 2010, 07:09:37 PM »
This is an interesting battle for the second grass starter. Guy's purely physical swordsmanship plays right into Meganium's bulky stature and defensive game, but the speed is a bit of a concern. Reflect and the lowly Growl of all things will take the sting right out of Guy's sword while strategic use of the healing Synthesis keeps Meganium afloat, all the while whittling his opponent's life down bit by bit. It's the classic contest of speed against endurance, and like the tortoise before him, Meganium intends to be the one still going at the end.

This is an interesting battle for the second grass starter. Guy's purely physical swordsmanship plays right into Meganium's bulky stature and defensive game, but the speed is a bit of a concern. His key skills, Reflect and the lowly Growl of all things, will take the sting right out of Guy's sword. Strategic use of the healing Synthesis skill can keep Meganium afloat. And all the while, he'll be whittling his opponent's life down bit by bit. It's the classic contest of speed against endurance, and like the tortoise before him, Meganium intends to be the slow and steady one still going at the end.
