Senkou no Ronde - Limitless Cinderella ~ Mika Phase 3 VS. Clannad - The Palm of a Tiny Hand - Pretty easy choice for me.
Persona 3 - Battle for Everyone’s Souls VS. We Love Katamari - Baby Universe - Yeah, Baby Universe is a nice track, but Souls is champ-calibre. Good match, though.
Perfect Dark - Credits VS. Blazblue - Oriental Flower - Ahahaha, not even close.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater VS. The Last Remnant - Echoes of the Past - What can I say? It kinda grew on me.

Legend of Mana - City of Flickering Destruction VS. MapleStory - The Dangerous Cave - Disappointing match, coming after the first half of this pool.
Guilty Gear XX - Awe of She VS. Total Distortion - You Are Dead - dot dot fucking dot.
Final Fantasy Tactics - Trisection VS. Tales of Vesperia - A Vow of Unity - Hm, weird match. Both have interesting points and dull points, but Unity does the interesting parts better.
Atelier Iris 3 - Rain of Blossoms VS. Chrono Cross - Radical Dreamer ~ Unstolen Jewel - oh god more bad lyrics lol wut

Genesis of Aquarion - Nike-15-sai VS. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Inner Universe - Inner Universe is very up-and-down, while Aquarion's is constantly decent. I'm happy to go with consistency over the high points here.
Madlax - Margaret VS. Ouran High School Host Club - Tango Brilliante for Orchestra - You can't be Tonfa, you just anti-voted Kajiura. Anyways, these two are basically the same thing, but Ouran does it better.

ARRANGED
Final Fantasy VI - GUARVAIL -Final Fantasy Heavy Metal Arrange Album- - Tina VS. Touhou Eiyashou ~ Imperishable Night - Touhou Violin 8 - Genshi no Yoru - Yikes. Champ-quality match right here. Touhou track does more - possibly due to the original, but eh, I'm voting based on quality, not on how much it improves the original track.
Actraiser - by Prince of Darkness/Guitar Bizarre/Chris Feener - A Coele Usque Ad Centrum VS. Duck Tales - OCRemix - Harden the Duck Up! - Another solid match. Actraiser goes on a little too long and drags on too much for my liking, while Duck is consistently great.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater VS. The Last Remnant - Echoes of the Past-  aaaahhhhh hell with it.  I'm not feeling mellow at the moment, so cheese it is.

Legend of Mana - City of Flickering Destruction VS. MapleStory - The Dangerous Cave- I guess the cool MapleStory tracks were in later pools.  Not that this one doesn't have a neat groove.

Senkou no Ronde - Limitless Cinderella ~ Mika Phase 3 VS. Clannad - The Palm of a Tiny Hand: Less boring.
Persona 3 - Battle for Everyone’s Souls VS. We Love Katamari - Baby Universe: Katamari music is very un-Cid.
Perfect Dark - Credits VS. Blazblue - Oriental Flower: It's dumb, but it makes me smile. Also not one of my favorite BB tracks here.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater VS. The Last Remnant - Echoes of the Past: Cheese vs. meh.

Legend of Mana - City of Flickering Destruction VS. MapleStory - The Dangerous Cave: Easy. The MS music I've heard is pretty meh.
Guilty Gear XX - Awe of She VS. Total Distortion - You Are Dead: Eh. It still amuses me and there's another Awe of She elsewhere.
Final Fantasy Tactics - Trisection VS. Tales of Vesperia - A Vow of Unity: Vow of Unity is simple but effective. Still has trouble beating out one of the better FFT tracks, though.
Atelier Iris 3 - Rain of Blossoms VS. Chrono Cross - Radical Dreamer ~ Unstolen Jewel: Not tough, as Radical Dreamers is a personal favorite.

ANIME
Genesis of Aquarion - Nike-15-sai VS. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Inner Universe: Aquarion song is okay, just has the misfortune to be against a GitS vocal. Most things get roadkilled there.
Madlax - Margaret VS. Ouran High School Host Club - Tango Brilliante for Orchestra: Mediocre song that stomped my favorite nom first round can go rot, thanks.
