Think Tynar Rouge might swing things for Agrias but I dunno~

Just finished FFT (Agrias was the CT baits) =D

No Tyner Rouge I don't think, which means Peppita wins by being rather monstrously good I guess...

Agrias is a bad Heavy without Tyner Rogue. I think she can block all of Peppita's status, and still loses the slugfest.

Yes.  It's a female-specific equip that grants... +3 PA/MA and Auto... Haste, definitely, possibly some other things from the MBarrier quartet but I don't remember which.  Anyway, you get it by visiting a specific town on Agrias' birthday if you have Agrias, Mustadio, and Lavian (Alicia?  One of the two) in the party.  It's essentially lipstick Mustadio buys Agrias for her birthday.

That sounds like it would make Agrias a lot better in the DL. Auto-Haste by itself would make her a fast 2HKOer? Protect and such would just be a nice bonus for helping her reach turn 2.

I still think Peppita just statuses her out with Freeze or something.

*research* Protect, Shell, Haste, Boost: Holy, PA/MA +3.  Yeah, it's meant to be on par with the Chantage methinks (considering it's literally just the one in the game, and depends on never dismissing Alicia or Lavian in addition to being on a specific date... yar.  I guess it's not a specific town, though, just has to be a town.)

I don't think Peppita's freeze is turn 1, and it certainly isn't against an FFT shield, so I see no reason Tyner Rouge Agrias wouldn't win this. Agrias actually just fails to 2HKO average with it, but Peppita is below, so she should be fine here. I think?

Granted, it doesn't sound like something I'd allow even if I'd played the PSP version.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but if she uses the Tyner Rouge is there any other way she can block Panic Dance? That's Peppita's most accurate status skill from what I can tell. Indeed that and counter O chaos over freeze. If Agrias can't block chaos while using Tyner it's possible Peppy just chaos locks with Panic Dance chains (she has enough fury for seven or eight in a full chain with Berserk irrc), I dunno. All irrelevant if Agrias can still block all of Peppita's statuses without accessories though :)
