Fang vs Tidus (FFX): Tidus comes very close to blitzing Fang out, but not quite... before considering Sentinel, never mind. He can immune Pain, but then he gets smacked with Deprtoect+Daze and blitzed horribly.
Fang vs Raquel (WA4): Pain.
Fang vs Zeal (CT): Faster, 3HKOs even taking one turn against Sentinel, and can beat out Mediguard stall. Unless you see Fang two-rounding (ridiculous), Zeal has this.
Fang vs Roufas (Saga): Roufas goes first but he doesn't do much meaningful and so the status parade begins.
Fang vs Rika (PS4): Rika can resist a bunch of what Fang does, but notably not the debuffs or Pain. If Pain doesn't stop Elim, Rika wins easily. If not, and Pain can be reapplied, Fang should win easily. If not... the match becomes a headache involving Rika stalling until her next turn which she probably gets. Pretty sure the assumptions that give Fang victory are correct, though.
Fang vs Scias (BoF4): She can tough through two Shiningblades as a Sentinel, which is the most Scias I'm going to credit Confuse as giving him. After that, Daze/Deprotect/death.
Fang vs Xenobia (Lunar:SSSC): Stone.
Fang vs Rubicant (FF4): Tough call if she survives a Scorch or not, but she needs more than that to win.
Fang vs Lyon (S5): I'm not sure here, but this feels right. She can resist Daze and Fog which are a really important pair to get.
Fang vs Altima (FFT)
Fang vs Zog (BoF1): Yeah, way too much HP.
Vanille vs Tidus (FFX): Vanille lacks Daze, so yeah, nothing she can do to stop a second Tidus turn. He opens with Slow/Haste and then destruction comes.
Vanille vs Raquel (WA4): Pain.
Vanille vs Zeal (CT): Yeah, not Zeal's type of fight really.
Vanille vs Roufas (Saga): Vanille lacks Daze, Roufas can heal Pain (or just immune it), and he opens with a 2HKO which means Fog (to stop the physical 2HKO) and healing aren't options.
Vanille vs Rika (PS4): No Daze, no Improved Pain hit rate... yeah, not inclined to buy a victory here.
Vanille vs Scias (BoF4): Shiningblade x2 kills here, with that status.
Vanille vs Xenobia (Lunar:SSSC): Haha, weird. Esuna/Curasa to the rescue!
Vanille vs Rubicant (FF4): Scorch.
Vanille vs Lyon (S5): I... think.
Vanille vs Altima (FFT)
Vanille vs Zog (BoF1): Um yeah, he outpaces her healing pretty badly.
Cthulhu vs Tidus (FFX): Two turns of Tidus blitzing rarely end well, even with Cthulhu's defence.
Cthulhu vs Raquel (WA4): Cthulhu's very fast here, which helps. He can mostly alternate healing and attacking, but... probably not close the deal, as soon as Raquel gets intrude it's over. And if he uses evadable attacks (which is basically everything he has) that happens too quickly.
Cthulhu vs Zeal (CT): Cthulhu physical tankiness helps a lot, he should be able to afford Insane Strike -> draining to a nasty finisher.
Cthulhu vs Roufas (Saga): Make Roufas insane, can tank two of his attacks anyway, though OHKOs, so Roufas is relying on evade to even get those two attacks, which is only 49% at best.
Cthulhu vs Rika (PS4): Elim.
Cthulhu vs Scias (BoF4): Cthulhu is faster, so a lock with status is impossible. Insanity comes first, then the OHKO, and Cthulhu can tank two Shiningblades if needed. Although Scias is only likely to get one anyway.
Cthulhu vs Xenobia (Lunar:SSSC): Stone.
Cthulhu vs Rubicant (FF4): Scorch.
Cthulhu vs Lyon (S5): Hm, Cthulhu is faster and just reduces Setting Sun to turn 2. He can also just tank a Vermillion Sky while insane. Close one, but yeah.
Cthulhu vs Altima (FFT): Grand Cross claims another victim.
Cthulhu vs Zog (BoF1): Hm, adopting Snowfire's interp here (only fight it matters in!), Zog OHKOs once he has 1.5x damage, which happens after Cthulhu's eighth action. Cthulhu has like a constant 3-2, so he should get nine turns while Zog gets five. He needs to use four of those draining, can use the other five on attacking, with the last two being Insane Strike + Dark Strike. He can do like 3.6 PCHP with this total. Unfortunately that's physical and Zog is like 5PCHP. Even if he can do more with a combo (doubt it, too much one-hit stuff in there), he loses.
Nina4 vs Tidus (FFX): Yeah, Nina takes a long time to win fights. That doesn't work against Tidus.
Nina4 vs Raquel (WA4): Nina4 instant doubles and four Typhoons take out Raquel without triggering Red Zone? Whoa. Wait... she can drop her magic defence and... nah, doubt that works, Nina has weaker spells and Inspire to mess with such strategies. It's possible, but inclined to think not.
Nina4 vs Zeal (CT): Probably has a 2HKO with Hexagon Mist, and they're too similar in speed. Definitely has a 2HKO after Nina equips to block MP draining.
Nina4 vs Roufas (Saga): OHKO with Awakening BoundShot crit. Nina doesn't like ranged physicals much.
Nina4 vs Rika (PS4): After Saner and Shift, she just puts way more pressure on, Inspire can't really rival this.
Nina4 vs Scias (BoF4): Scias does what here, exactly? Nina doesn't trigger Rakshasa or whatever that stupid hype is.
Nina4 vs Xenobia (Lunar:SSSC): Nina gets OHKOed if she opts for full status immunity. She can statusheal herself, but she barely has the MP to win with Rejuvenate and Typhoon.
Nina4 vs Rubicant (FF4): Scorch. Nina may be able to tank it but then she hates the physicals and yeah, I just don't think she can manage as a kneejerk.
Nina4 vs Lyon (S5): Evade and doubleturns give her the fight.
Nina4 vs Altima (FFT): Neither Mute nor Grand Cross work, so we're down to hyping Altima physicals? Yeah, unlike Xenobia, Nina should have the resources for this. Unless I see stone/frog working, which I probably do these days.
Nina4 vs Zog: Nina has a bit better than a 5-3, so that means three heals, two Typhoons, repeat a lot. This can repeat five times, but with two more Typhoons in there. Total is... 4.4 PCHP against Zog MDef. Not good enough, but closer than Cthulhu!
Fang 5-6
Vanille 3-8
Cthulhu 4-7
Nina4 3-8
Tougher pool this time!
