Elincia Riddel Crimea (Fire Emblem Series) vs Sword Dancer (Tales of Symphonia)
I'm not sure how exactly to scale Sword Dancer. I fought him once and he was pretty good but if we're doing some holistic ARPG interp thing, Elincia might be able to kite around with a staff healing at worst.

sure allow ID protection for VP2 Lenneth, then healz.
Heavy
Nolan (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn) vs Selan (Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals)
According to Elecman / Random, even barely higher Nolan stat would tip this to him, and I'd use lvl. 10 as a floor which helps the DB out. (Okay except for maybe Tormod.)
Time Mage (Final Fantasy V) vs Emeralda Kasim (Xenogears)
Time Mage is not a Heavy to me.
Haar (Fire Emblem Series) vs Arnaud G. Vasquez (Wild ARMs 4)
Shut Out->Move->Illusion. Arnaud eats one Haar melee attack & one hand axe attack. I doubt that kills him.
Hope Estheim (Final Fantasy XIII) vs Ashnard (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance)
Okay, unfortunately Ashnard does get armor hype in the DL proper, however I'm willing to take any reasonable excuse for other systems to break it. Being a l'Cie is pretty badass in the world of FF13, only Pulse l'Cie can kill the final boss since other stuff would just bounce off, so I'm willing to say Hope can do damage here.
That said. Okay, Normal mode Ashnard vs. the cast rather than just Ike. Both are averagey speed losing tiebreaks, since Hope is opening SYN obviously. If Hope "goes first" and gets Haste / Protect off, he's pretty much set. He spends double turns doing damage, the rest of the time healing. If Ashnard goes first then Hope is splattered in a double. Flip side, if you factor in Ike & co. a bit harder, then maybe Ashnard won't double anymore and Hope has an easy victory.
That said, I'm going to tiebreak for Hope, because NM Ashnard won't close until you actively send someone in range, so I'm willing to give him last strike. Which lets Hope set up his buffs. Ashnard's critical rate is bad and he should feel bad, so that won't work either.
EDIT: And CK added an "everyone gets blessed weapons" clause so moot in this tourney I suppose regardless of the fact I'd let Hope break the armor anyway.
Middle
Snow Villiers (Final Fantasy XIII) vs Milda (Grandia)
Milda can't break Sentinel and can't heal off counters and can't stop ridiculous icy motorcycles.
Lightning Farron (Final Fantasy XIII) vs Margarete Gertrude Zelle (Shadow Hearts)
ID resist accessories. Even at lvl. 1, stacking 3 of 'em pretty well turns off the ID game, and healing means Lightning should be able to heal until madness at worst vs. damage, or just kill Margarete if she goes for heavily resisted ID.
Warlock (Suikoden IV) vs Vivi Ornitier (Final Fantasy IX)
