I think there are sometimes opportunities for enemies to evade again between certain attacks though I'm not certain exactly when those occur (about the only thing with noteworthy evade is the final superboss).

Regardless, I'd strongly disagree with giving an entire cast accuracy credit over something like that. (This has come up before with Shadow Hearts, I said the same thing then.) I'd suggest either giving the entire chain one accuracy check, or giving each attack one (in-game mechanics be damned). You could also preserve the mechanics but lower the individual hit rate so that a -50% accuracy effect results in -50% damage on average, but that's probably more complex than it's worth.

If games are "once you land a hit the rest connect" I assume that the evade makes one check on the first strike, and if that misses then the entire attack chain is dodged. Either that or I would go for -50% accuracy = -50% damage, but yeah that's a massive pain in the ass to actually work out in cases like VPs where you have damage dependent on the chain connecting in full. I wouldn't hype an entire cast as ITE because they are multi-hit (Suikoden 3 also has had issues with this sort of thing in the past).

Thanatos (Secret of Mana) vs Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI) - Amusingly, keeping Terra under a disabling status lock means that she can't unmorph, so she gets to keep the doubled magic durability until she wakes up. (And possibly afterwards, because FF6.) Anyway, I figure she can survive long enough for a second turn.

There's no games currently up for ranking, so barring a flood of updates to player data, we'll just have data gathering along with next weeks finals.  On the really off chance one of those actually meets playership reqs (I think the best played game between me and lance is either uh fe6 or Trails.  yeah.), I think I'll just run an additional week for actual ranking.
