Chrom (FE13) vs Tsarovna Alena (DQ4) - Yup.
Chrom vs Ashnard (FE9) - Sure, burping Elfboy.
Chrom vs Pheryx Tristan Xenobia (OB) - I'll buy Tristan being able to withstand a counter storm. He two-rounds and, in addition to the base tankiness, has so much evade.
Chrom vs Sabin Rene Figaro (FF6) - 2HKOs first.
Chrom vs Princess Toadstool (SMRPG) - Sleepy Time spells doom.
Chrom vs King Galam (SF2) - 2HKOs, likely.
Chrom vs Nadia "Marle" Guardia (CT) - I'll assume she doesn't get doubled, yeah. Of course, if she does, this gets hilariously ugly.
Chrom vs Natalia Luzu-Kimlasca Lanvaldear (TotA) - Burp.
Chrom vs Yang Fabul (FF4) - Sigh, FF4a.
Chrom vs Flare (S4) - Burp mk. III.
Chrom vs Albert Serdio (LoD) - Chrom doubles, seriously? Chippershred.
Chrom vs Anastasia Romanov (SH2) - Euthanasia blues.
2-10. Chrom really isn't a Heavy, all things said.
Esuna Busy (7th Saga) vs Tsarovna Alena (DQ4) - Esuna gets two-rounded at base (and is essentially forced to heal any time a hit connects, since Alena 3HKOs her) and folds to a single, evade-ignoring, critical. Her best bet, since she eats a 4-3, is to just YOLO and attempt a status blitz, but my kneejerk is that this is just -way- too risky. Trying to stall for time leads to horrible things, since see the 4-3 above.
Esuna Busy vs Ashnard (FE9) - Defense 1 => heal until a dodge, pelt, then finish it off. Esuna 2HKOing Ashnard makes this fairly easy.
Esuna Busy vs Pheryx Tristan Xenobia (OB) - I'm pretty sure he one-rounds Esuna before Protect, and he's faster -and- very accurate. This ain't working.
Esuna Busy vs Sabin Rene Figaro (FF6) - Absolutely no respect for Sabin being faster and he doesn't OHKO (65% damage to her 84% HP). So, she just 2HKOs his ass or IDs, Sabin's got no Ice resistance.
Esuna Busy vs Princess Toadstool (SMRPG) - Oh. Huh. This is an interesting match. Given Toadstool's status hitting SMRPG's concept of evade and how good Esuna's status resist is, I'm inclined to buy her status as being turn three, and Toadstool own above average mdef isn't good enough to reduce Esuna's ID to turn three itself. Soooo. If Esuna's faster, this gets easier, though this is arguable.
Esuna Busy vs King Galam (SF2) - Galam gets elem resists like most lategame ShF2 bosses, right? This should at least stave off a 2HKO, and he's easily one-rounding Esuna before Defense. Heck, -after- Defense, crits/doubles are still a huge risk, ShF2 bosses certainly aren't slouches in that damage instability regard.
Esuna Busy vs Nadia "Marle" Guardia (CT) - See Toadstool. Esuna definitely goes first, casts Power, defends and OHKOs. Marle status isn't going to be turn two with the combo of evade and MDef.
Esuna Busy vs Natalia Luzu-Kimlasca Lanvaldear (TotA) - Natalia could grab a possible win via stalling for an Overlimit! Too bad she eats ID instead and 3HKOs Esuna at base -before evasion-. Natalia isn't even that good at MDef, PDef is her real stat.
Esuna Busy vs Yang Fabul (FF4) - Against borderline coinflip evade, Yang's sleep isn't turn one. Against Yang's epic MDef, Esuna's Vaccuum is turn always.
Esuna Busy vs Flare (S4) - Flare is faster, but she struggles mightily to make damage stick, especially when Esuna 2HKOs her (Flare's below average mdur thanks to the HP). A single Ice 2 forces her to heal and Esuna has a lot more charges of Ice 2 than Flare has Healing Winds, and I haven't even began mentioning Esuna status. And, of course, Wind of Sleep is crazy risky with Esuna evade+MDef in play. Funeral Wind is utterly useless.
Esuna Busy vs Albert Serdio (LoD) - 2HKOs, isn't OHKOed, the works.
Esuna Busy vs Anastasia Romanov (SH2) - Anastasia immuning both Esuna's money status moves for minimal stat hits means she needs to blitz this out... which is kinda out of the question with Ana's Water/Ice resist. Euthanasia's odds of landing a deadly status here are just too high even if you see Esuna evading that move, and I don't.
7-4. On the other hand, Esuna -is- a Heavy. The status spoiling is just so awesome (and it definitely got mileage in this pool!) in addition to the skillset insanity. One of those days, I'd also like to see Valsu on another Heavy/Godlike Proving Grounds pool, since he trades a little bit of damage for even better options and superior durability, keeping the status spoiling intact - and -that's- a Godlike-level combination.
