Clive (RS) vs Gato (CT)- I think Clive's 40% healing holds out? I don't remember Gato being damaging at all.
Guido (G1) vs Edward (FF4o)- Kneejerk Guido as faster, as it was his only remotely competent stat. He's more durable than Edward and may well be more damaging.

Ditto (RBY) vs Keele Ziebel (ToE)- ANIMALS HAVE NO GOD
Mullen (G1) vs Jogurt (SF1)- Nergal would be proud, Mullen.
Torneko Taloon (DQ4) vs Nicolas (SO2)- Taloon is Cristo with no magic and worse stats.
Alenia (S5) vs Whelk (FF6)- ha. aha. ahaahahhahaha. *BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA* Ahem. Alenia can't use her MT magic, that gets her slaughtered by Whelk counters. She is relying on her Euramtastic physicals, which get easily otuslugged.

Guido (G1) vs Edward (FF4o): Yeah, I'm just gonna kneejerk that Guido is less bad at everything than Edward.

Ditto (RBY) vs Keele Ziebel (ToE): Keele not only goes first, but gets a 2nd turn immediately after.  RBY Ditto cannot win matches unless the opponent is...
Mullen (G1) vs Jogurt (SF1): ...the loser of this very match.  So close to getting a win, Ditto!
Torneko Taloon (DQ4) vs Nicolas (SO2): Congrats a Taloon at letting Nicolas survive long enough to do stuff.
Alenia (S5) vs Whelk (FF6): Just going with "Whelk has more health, that beats Alenia."

Cindy (FF4) vs Amalthea 1 (Trails)
Cindy has like a 70HKO to average.  Amalthea meanwhile can literally get OHKO'd (not ORKO'd) if you're willing to dump initial CP into it.  Still, support credit, and she only fights 3 characters...  I'd see Amalthea 1 as having maybe .30 PCHP or so.  So a ~20HKO.  Meanwhile Amalthea has a 6HKO to average to the poison immune.  I'm assuming Cindy doesn't have 3 PCHP.

Cindy (FF4) vs Amalthea 1 (Trails): I have more respect for Cindy's damage than Snowfire. This doesn't matter.
Guido (G1) vs Edward (FF4o): Edward is faster, but Guido can block both Edward's status at a 13% speed hit. So... Guido is 82% speed, 82% HP, does 24% to average. Edward is 100% speed, 59% (really 44%) HP, does 16% to average. Guido's sadly pretty good for Puny, though does meet my threshold for it (loses to someone with average stats and half average damage), Edward is just kinda terrible when status isn't involved (and still bad when it is).

Mullen (G1) vs Jogurt (SF1): Overlord, overlord, overlord!
Torneko Taloon (DQ4) vs Nicolas (SO2): Hum. Taloon does 14% to average with the Sword of Malice. Nicolas has... not sure what I make of that HP... a bit under 2/3 average sounds right, but apparently he cuts physicals a lot so he's about 1.5 pdur! Awesome! But... Dhyer also calls him 30% speed, which given that I don't really remember him doing ANYTHING sounds possible. (I think I saw Noah once.) So Taloon 11HKOs. He's 87% speed to Nicolas' 30%, so he gets in 11 attacks before Nic gets 4. Does Nicolas win in 3 turns? No.
Alenia (S5) vs Whelk (FF6): Technically Alenia's probably magically tanky enough to survive a Mega Volt, but probably not a Mega Volt + two Whelk physicals (since he's faster). And yeah her physical doesn't really break defence appreciably.

Fun fact on Nicolas/Taloon: If you let Taloon itemcast Fireball/sizzle from his Sword of Malice, he should blow out Nic. That gets around Nic's excellent defense and hits his weakness to fire. Yes. This match is so pathetic that a 21 damage attack spell from an itemcast Taloon can access like an hour into his quest will win him the match.

Running is still crucial for SO casters for getting away from your enemy and into a position where you can actually cast the spell safely. Or at least, that's how it works on the PC end. On the enemy end they just never get the spell off. <_< I'm thinking the former interpretation is the one which Nicolas would prefer me to take!
