Tourney of Random Events Finals

Event 41- Watching Paint Dry

The great test of sanity, the most arduous of tasks.  Contestants will be locked in a small room and tied to a chair, head fixed at a particular location.  The room will imperceptibly rotate so that 'fresh' paint is always presented to the contestant, with a silent machine behind them continuing the painting process for the duration of the match.  The first contestant to lose their mind and escape their bonds or to fall unconscious loses.

The final contestants are...

Watching Paint Dry- Lilianne Valendorf (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) vs Luca Blight (Suikoden II)

The important bit of the description here isn't who will be the first to break.  They will both break within seconds, the difference between them too close to call.  The important bit is that the loser is the first to break free.  And Luca's super strength will see him busting free long before Lily does.

And so, Lily wins.

If it's Raze's face Lily will watch it dry forever.  Luca... Luca probably not so much.

Watching Paint Dry- Lilianne Valendorf (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) vs Luca Blight (Suikoden II)- Luca's patience for this event is roughly zero.  Not that either is a paragon of sanity, but Lily strikes me as a good deal more stable than Luca.

Yeah, Whim tells Lily to win this for Mr. Raze, and Lily will sit there with all her might to watch paint dry until she knows she's won.

Whim will ALSO bribe the tournament organizer to not tell Lily that it's okay after the three minutes it takes Luca to say fuck this and destroy the ropes/machine/walls/etc in a berserk fury.

So Lily gets to sit there until she finally snaps. Raze will mention that she won hours ago and is surprised at how long she sat there. Lily will find out why she was left in there for hours and Whim will get strangled. Again.

Lily > Luca.

Lily, clearly a tourney of randomness trophy is just the thing to win Raze's heart.  Both Athena & her would have pretty easily handled either Bowser or Luca here.
