Alright, the Lollipop Guild has closed it's doors, and nominations are finished.  However, just because a fighter has support does not mean they'll be getting in.  Now they need to get into the tournament by losing like they've never lost before.

Because we got 31 entries, there will be two waves of the gauntlet.  General format will be the fighter, their setup, then their matches.

Honestly, I would just ask for 1 more dueller to make it 32 and include them all. Having over 150 votes needed before the tournament starts (and votes that have already been hashed out a little to some degree) definitely is a slog and means that that the best way to design characters was actually trying to make them beat as many of these 5 in the first place without sweeping.

Yeah, I vote we just cut straight to the "real" tourney myself as well, throwing out nom's that got complaints from multiple people in thread.   You can probably get a good 32nd nom from chat, or cut to 24 and have a 3-way final.  Post the other noms you're planning on using as well, I guess, so that we can be sure nothing slipped through?

I will say, since I brought it up in the thread as well...

Bound no More - Dekar
Rocket Ring and Twist Jewel (+70 Speed, +50 Defense)

Bound no More - Dekar vs. Beowulf (FFT)
Bound no More - Dekar vs. Cloud (FF7) - Depends on how much starting limit gauge Cloud gets, and possibly stall-resolution rules.  Poke -> 3x damage finisher is probably the way Dekar wins, but Cloud can stall and simply never give Dekar the IP.  If Cloud starts with enough Limit he Cross-Slashes into victory, of course.  Let's say Cloud just for argument's sake.
Bound no More - Dekar vs. Demi (PS4) - Demi can never win.  (Technically no PS4, but her resources are limited, Dekar's healing isn't.)
Bound no More - Dekar vs. Lyn (FE7) - Lyn can't win either, Dekar's super defense means she needs 2 crits in a row or something.  Either cheaper Tough Hide healing with weaker defense, or Metal Mail full-healing with great defense win.  If she does nothing, Dekar waits for ATB doubles, then attack -> heals.
Bound no More - Dekar vs. Rydia (FF4) - OHKOs.

And more generally, vanilla Dekar's a very good Middle and this buff is quite relevant, so with the buffs he seems too good for Middle even ignoring the gauntlet results.
