« on: March 26, 2023, 01:46:34 AM »
Oh boy, rematch in lightweight.  Will team Super fare any better this time against the team that put them in losers initially?

Heavyweight -

Team Speed Manip: Fie (Cold Steel) / Arnaud / Tidus vs Team Fellowship of the Ring: Athos / Rufus (VP2) / Geddoe

Lightweight -

Team Superaielman: Kain / Noel / Nergal vs Team Cats & Frogs Living Together: Cray (Breath of Fire 4), Lethe (FE9), Frog (CT)

Team Speed Manip: Fie (Cold Steel) / Arnaud / Tidus vs Team Fellowship of the Ring: Athos / Rufus (VP2) / Geddoe -

Whoever wins Round 1 should have this. If Fie wins, Arnaud/Tidus should be able to take out Rufus. Even though Rufus has ITE, most of his damage is magical and he's vulnerable to Slow Down into Sleep. So Arnaud wins that fight, then Geddoe beats Arnaud, and then dies to Tidus because lol Yellow Shield.

If Athos wins, he probably also beats Arnaud on his own. Seriously, Arnaud vs. Athos is a really bad match up for Arnaud. Rufus can survive a Tidus turn and the ITE nature of Blue Gale means you have to give a Soft Ward for Tidus to not risk getting Stone Decree'd Turn 1. Most people don't do that due to cost prohibition and Tidus doesn't get a Stone resistant armor naturally.

So that being said, I think Fie wins - even at a 100 CP only. Concealing Wins protects her from retaliation while she fishes for ID. And she's going to get 2 Scud Rippers off at worse, so that's a 75% chance to proc. If you give her more CP, the win is more definitive because then she can add an extra chance through Demonic Scythe. Yes, Athos has evade against it, but comparatively, Athos' evade isn't great. Plus Concealing Wind makes Fie's attacks unevadable, so it's mainly Demonic Scythe that runs that check.
