Tentative Pass to Super. Twin hype gets them past the buffers despite their total lack of damage. And I don't respect Gaff that much. Close, though. This team will be absurd once Yuna can do damage, with great Saner Evade hype, but I'm kind of curious why there's all that healing when the twins are so bloody fragile.



As for me, no vote as usual, but the first three fights are SharpPain bait, as usual, with Claude+Aika splattering Rydia while Yuna's stunned. Demi and Wren could be tricky, if they both focus on Raquel and go for the KO, but as long as one of my big damage dealers survives through to the bosses, Delta Shield should be up and running. Alternatively, since everything is ST, MIRROR IMAGE ZOZMA HYPE!

Fnorder dies, the others make it.

SharpPain is a free pass through the first free fights, but then the Androids both shrug off SharpPain, get turns, and kill mint. Assuming that Fnorder can kill Demi (that's a stretch; Raquel and Claude haven't taken off in terms of damage yet and Zozma can never do it), Wren can still badly hurt Raquel with Posibolt. Aika's healing is shit and will barely dent that damage. Then in the next fight, Decus kills Raquel before she can move, and the rest of this team doesn't have the firepower (snerk) to take Decus down.

El Cid doesn't need to worry about this because he can kill an android before it moves = his entire team makes it to the boss.

Sharp Pain not being MT in this floor also makes things uglier on the Aeonless Yuna fight, since Claude still doesn't have good Ripper Blast yet to OHKO Rydia with and the resources will begin to drain on. Claude is kind of a later game pickup, and the offense kinda crumbles without Raquel.

I will say that the Rydia fight is no problem if you allow Swirlmarang by now (I dunno where you get it in SoA:L, but it was downloadable and accessible pretty early in SoA Original) and that Aika's healing isn't total failure yet, because HP hasn't gained to the point where Sacres is completely pointless. Also, Delta Shield blocks explosion, and Spicule is physical vs. Raquel's good defensive stat. Lastly, Raquel can CG for Red Zone if need be, to make nearly killing her result in a serious turnaround.

Team Fnorder vs. Decus and Vesper- Delta Shield on Claude or Raquel seems to make this fight winnable. Am I missing something? They can't really blitz- they have to kill Aika round one, easy enough. But Raquel's damage at this point should be well into OHKO range by herself. With Claude and Zozma, that should kill at least Vesper. Raquel can also halve fire at this point IIRC, which is bad news as well.

I'm not so sure about Raquel's damage being into OHKO range at that point (although, assuming that floor 3 is within the Belial fight range, it's... plausible, but. Raquel isn't as physically durable as she is DL-wise until endgame, and she has game-worst magic durability by a ways at this point). And I don't see why Mint should be the one killed in the match before, her revival is something like floor 6, and she can't MT her healing either. Demi and Wren can pile it on Aika just fine.

Vesper's first action is going to be MP nuking Mint, leaving her completely worthless. Decus is going to try to fry Raquel. The fire halving lets her live but she's in bad shape at this point.  Raquel+Claude+Zozma we'll say does 4x average damage. (Raquel 2.2x average, Claude 1.2x average, Zozma .6 average). Decus after defense should just survive this at worst. Vesper MP nukes Claude, Decus KOs Raquel.. and that would be fight in that case. Zozma/Claude probably finish off Decus, but Zozma's physicals shouldn't be enough. And once he's statused out, that's fight. Switching vote.

Team Fnorder vs. Aeonless Yuna and Rydia - This...looks ugly.  Yuna has to be hit with Sharp Pain or killed straight off--and we're talking trying to run off of Raquel speed against Yuna evasion.  I'll take the argument that Claude's a bit more of a lategame pickup here...Needless to say, Rydia hurts someone, and then gets splattered.  Stunned Yuna gets finished off with little effort.
Team Fnorder vs. Demi and Wren - Good news!  Phonomezer isn't MT here!  Bad news--Sharp Pain or any other status doesn't work, and the 'bots are all ranged and nonphysical.  Mint gets smacked here, at least, or possibly Aika or Claude.  If nothing else, this will be a -long- fight until Raquel gets the FP needed to kill them, given their obscene self-healing (if nothing else).
Team Fnorder vs. Decus and Vesper - Ouch...buying Super's argument here.  Doesn't help that I do penalize durability for GC usage--and if Raquel tries for Resist Fire (And I'm doubting she even has -access- to it; she needs to be Level 18 in game, which puts things around...I'd like to say Platapana or Cerulean, possibly even Mim'krilu), she's putting her HP in the shitter.  Still, I must quote Super for posterity:

Team El Cid vs. Deis 1 - Really slow, I'm guessing she doesn't do any lasting damage before Emily + chip damage physicals from the mages do her in.
Team El Cid vs. Aeonless Yuna and Rydia - Bernadette may be out of healing charges by the end of this fight (Or Rena's out of MP while Bern's out of Ice spell charges). Zerase is pretty much taking Yuna on by herself due to Yuna evading Emily's physicals.
Team El Cid vs. Demi and Wren - The whole team gangs up on Demi to try to get past her amazing self-healing. Zerase will be out of her best Attack spells by the end of this fight (She might have one left, but either Bern or Rena will be completely MP screwed then, which will waste their turns).
Team El Cid vs. Decus and Vesper - Team El Cid just doesn't have enough resources left here. Close, but I don't see Emily as OHKOing either of them and no one else has any strong damage left. If they focus on Emily and finish her off, the rest fall without a fight.

Fnorder loses thanks to all his healing being ST and having no way to really keep his resources up for the boss.
