Keneth's not flashy in the least. It's easy to overlook Lazlo's thunder inclined friend, as shown by his long, long wait for DL combat. He is however extremely competent with both his sword and Lightning Rune, able to use both with ease. He'll be tapping into the power of his magics to smash this puny Elf. Genis is both slow and frail, with no defense against Furious Blow's deadly power. His Seven Star Sword is just as able to put paid to Genis, with the small child having no defense against a viperish strike from Keneth's one handed sword. No matter what brings the pain to Genis, the result is the same. Victory for the Knights of Obel.
