Well, Valeria hates to break it to Kenneth, but the logic of Lightning beats Birds only works for pokemon, and this swordswoman's vocabulary consists of far more then her own name. Sure, she may not be a swordmage like him, but the veteran of two True Rune backed wars is more then tough enough to withstand whatever the knight from Raziril cares to dish out. But can the same be said of him? Kenneth is a rather skinny guy, after all. He probably can't take too many swordblows directly to the chest, and it's his misfortune that the specialty of any Falcon runer is delivering just such blows at speeds even lightning has trouble keeping up with.
