Rose now faces the victorious champion of last season's Middle, an unexpected event to say the least. Of course, over ten thousand years of experience means Rose will have little trouble adapting to this new development, and reacting accordingly. In this case, however, the challenge at hand will require no feats of heroics, as Rose's traditional battle techniques are more than sufficent to handle Hahn. His Vol spell, bane of middle and all his defeated opponents, is neatly deflected by Rose's hair band, which stops all manner of instant death. Meanwhile, the perenial student's sluggishness leaves him easy pray to Rose's own Dimension Gate, because nothing in his arsenal can take her down before she can build up to a Dragoon state and employ it against him. Hahn had a good run, but it's time for the older and wiser warriors to excel and prove the worth of experience in battle.
