Team Jade
As Season 44 wraps up, the conqueror of Godlike once again steps up to the mettle for a good old traditional team match! Jade is no stranger to these all-out slugfests, be it as a champion, be it as a runner-up. And now, as a winning leader, he shall once again prove his unshakable might! His teammates may lack crowd-control techniques, but they certainly make up for it with durability and offense! The water gerbil Suicune brings veritable damage and astounding resilience to the table, the Dragoon Albert Serdio, beyond his own notable armor, can raise the party's overall durability even further with a casting with Rose Storm, rendering this team nigh-invincible. Then, there is the Paladin Kent, who, with his weapon variety, can bring a solution to just about any problems regarding the weapon triangle backed up by solid stats. Jade's team, much like himself, isn't winning on variety, but rather through sheer might, and that should be more than enough to put that annoying clown's entourage down for the count.
Team Kefka
WHAT!? The magnificent flamenco dancer Kefka lost to a flimsy general!? This cannot be! This ab-so-lu-te-ly won't do! But this won't go without at least an attempt at revenge! Ohhhhhhhhhh, yesssssss, Kefka has brought with him a wonderful entourage to exact vengeance and show that his loss was but a fluke, and they will do so with fireworks and pomp! Besides the clown's own earth-rending speed and offense, his teammates, all proud champions, have just the right mix of variety and resilience to tear down those fools! Princess Eirika is one built much like Kefka himself, doling out murderous offense off brilliant speed and with nigh-unbreakable evade to top it off. Margulis can break out his notable durability and myriad clones to make this fight even less fair, and the always handy Acala Seal threat to keep enemies on their toes. And what about the frog Jean? Death castings, of course! With so many people marvelous fighters and such a colorful theme going, Kefka's victory is assured!
