Oh, and apologies to VSM. I think I've gone after you in every game we've played together and was wrong every single time.

Rat: Tom correctly guessed who Crow was, but no one else did. Everyone else who guessed on Crow said Carthrat.
Woohoo! I thought it was pretty obviously not Rat (he didn't use the little <---> thingy enough, and his posts were too long), and I was fairly sure it was Corwin based on tone.

I believe I've pegged who Excel is with her second post, and that was even without the meta where times online factor in.
Cor, did you guess correctly?

I tried to stray away from Kangaroo time, but it didn't really work (staying up till 2am just for mafia is painful). I also tried to amend my spelling, not sure if I got all the zees.

Don't remind me about that rollercoaster emotion game please ;-;

I actually thought Dude was Alex. I haven't played with VSM and Strago much lately, so I failed at guessing there. But VSM died too quick for me to analyse anyway.

Tom: It's your posting style, mang. The frequent emoticons give it away, as does the use of asterixes, as does...

Well, I guessed who you were before the first post was made, frankly. >_>

I'd have guessed Strago, but no one else. I'm not a great guesser.

I have to wonder how different the game would have gone if I didn't pass out on day one and continued to defend myself.

I knew Dude wasn't Alex... I'm pretty sure he's only seen The Big Lebowski once, at DL-Con 1, 3 years ago. The Dude exuded Dudeness... They knew the movie too well. Props to Strago.

Super and Ciato both PMed me asking if I was The Dude. I took it as a compliment.

Urg, yeah.  Apologies to everyone for the lack of performance I gave.  Not sure exactly what happened, but I just couldn't wrap my head around the game, and the one time I got close stuff happened and I got interrupted.  Part of why I'm not touching the upcoming Simpsons game.

Anyways, good game, Xanth.  I pegged who you were pretty quick, but you hadn't made it onto any scum short-list.  So, kudos.  Also, Crow, I completely understand why you offed me when you did, seeing as I was a few minutes away from offing the town Cop.

Oh yeah...

If this is Town v. Town, we've lost the game.  So I have to believe that my suspicions of you are right, and that you're scum.  the only reason I'm holding back my vote is to give people some time to talk, and some time to ask me questions.

Scum's favorite post of the game. End of Day 2 was golden~ Two town vs. town sudden deaths.

Tom: Pretty much what Rat said.

Excal: Yeah.  :/
I kept on thinking he would claim, especially after that day 3 post of his, but the longer he didn't the scummier he seemed to me. And then he just gave up instead.  :/

KHAN: I'm sorta curious, why did you do stuff like extend day 1 into sudden death?

Morbidly amused that I still smacked smodge for his capitalization, and still went after Alex till the bitter end, despite not having guessed either.

I've just realised that the final four were all part of the scum team from incompetent mafia.

KHAN: I'm sorta curious, why did you do stuff like extend day 1 into sudden death?

Necessity-ish. I'd lost so much time with my main computer deciding to blow up, I was ever so slightly feverish and getting on for very tired, so I knew my ability to reason quickly was out the window, but had promised I'd be around for the deadline. As much as what I said that could be true was - I did come on expecting to vote for the little queen, then Mr. Yangus made really quite a convincing post on Mr. Flanders, and then Mr. Flanders made what I felt would look like quite a good vanilla defence. I knew I'd have been in a lot more trouble if I'd just said 'stuff it, let's go with Mr. Flanders anyway' if I didn't have supporting material (and probably even if I did), so sudden death was strictly better for all involved. The scum ploy in play there was just 'if in doubt, do what you'd do as town', but I otherwise looked fairly crap because that was my state of mind at the time.

Any other events in mind? I leapt on and then off of Miss Excel on day 3 as bait that Mr. Miyagi picked up and ran with, and so that it didn't just look like I was taking the paths of least resistance. Actually, when I put that argument down I'd just jumped on to thinking that Miss Excel actually was the cop, as it was the only way that seemed to me at the time that would explain why she was expecting that there might be no cop from the other claims and was hoping that it would make her squirm to back it up, but then did realise that it was theoretically justifiable, so the climb down was genuine.

And sure, I insisted on playing out day 3 right to the end so that it looked like I was desperate to get my view out for fear of being killed that night.

Leading day 2 into sudden death was probably the golden moment, given that it dropped suspicion on practically everyone else. Not that I'd expected even Mr. Yangus to show up, but that made it beautiful.
