Hey, hey! I like Mafia. I just don't like "Surprise, there's role madness, you're not playing Mafia." Signed up for this the instant Tom said it would be semi-open setup.
On that note I need to praise this setup again. It was balanced, fair, unpredictable and interesting without being gimmicky, and well run. Roles played into things but didn't override scum hunting (or scum hiding). All of this in a tight semi open package that really only had three basic roles in play. Less is more, Tom is awesome, hugs!
On that subnote, when the role list is open and a nurse has already flipped, don't try to claim one shot bodyguard doc fusion. >_> It was kind of obvious Jabba was a standard doc trying to dodge being NK'd, though for obvious reasons I didn't want to point that out while the game was going.
