Tsukigatari - Tsukigatari - Image Song of Arcueid Brunestud (Tsukihime) vs Aether - Meridian Dance (Seiken Densetsu 3) - I like Tsukigatari, but I think I like Meridian Dance just a bit more. Close fight, though.
The Black Mages - Clash on the Big Bridge (Final Fantasy 5) vs Morrigan - I-III / Excalibur (Fate/Stay Night) - Yeesh. This one is even closer. I had a tough time deciding on a winner here, and even then, I may just change my vote later on. We'll see.
Xenogears: Creid - Melkaba (Xenogears) vs FFVI Piano Collection - Celes (Final Fantasy 6) - Melkaba is doing better than I thought it would.
Stella Deus BGM ReArrange Album - Sky Ray (Stella Deus) vs The Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki FC & SC Super Arrange Version - I swear... Instrumental Ver. (The Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki) - Much prettier. Again.

Dragon Slayer 4 Arrange Album - Ending (Dragon Slayer 4) vs Benefit of the Boomerang - At The World's End (Terranigma) - Eh. I still find At World's End to be somewhat soporific.
kLuTzMusic - Town Theme Piano Arrangement (Final Fantasy 1) vs Reuben Kee - Ryu for Four Pianos (Street Fighter 2) - Eh again. Not especially interested in either.
ansgaros - Kefka Gets Decisive (Final Fantasy 6) vs Nixdorux - Ghost (Super Mario World) - Ahem. There's sand on my boots.
STK - Forever Rachel (Final Fantasy 6) vs Dark Chronicle Premium Arrange - Moonlight Tango (Dark Chronicle) - Well, at least the first half of this pool was good....

The Black Mages - Clash on the Big Bridge (Final Fantasy 5) vs Morrigan - I-III / Excalibur (Fate/Stay Night) - Similarly.  One does epic fight music right.

Xenogears: Creid - Melkaba (Xenogears) vs FFVI Piano Collection - Celes (Final Fantasy 6) - This on the other hand is pretty close.  Giving it to the more complex piece.

Stella Deus BGM ReArrange Album - Sky Ray (Stella Deus) vs The Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki FC & SC Super Arrange Version - I swear... Instrumental Ver. (The Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki) - Not a bad match, just like this one better.

Dragon Slayer 4 Arrange Album - Ending (Dragon Slayer 4) vs Benefit of the Boomerang - At The World's End (Terranigma) - Same as last match.

kLuTzMusic - Town Theme Piano Arrangement (Final Fantasy 1) vs Reuben Kee - Ryu for Four Pianos (Street Fighter 2) - Piano vs piano?  Crush.

ansgaros - Kefka Gets Decisive (Final Fantasy 6) vs Nixdorux - Ghost (Super Mario World) - I like this Kefka, but Ghost is one of the best songs in the contest.

STK - Forever Rachel (Final Fantasy 6) vs Dark Chronicle Premium Arrange - Moonlight Tango (Dark Chronicle) - Match of meh.

The Black Mages - Clash on the Big Bridge (Final Fantasy 5) vs Morrigan - I-III / Excalibur (Fate/Stay Night): Big Bridge is one of my long time favorites, Excalibur doesn't quite get there.
Xenogears: Creid - Melkaba (Xenogears) vs FFVI Piano Collection - Celes (Final Fantasy 6): On an entirely different level.
Stella Deus BGM ReArrange Album - Sky Ray (Stella Deus) vs The Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki FC & SC Super Arrange Version - I swear... Instrumental Ver. (The Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki): Pretty, and much more interesting while at it.

A fail-off in round 3?  How'd this happen?  Anyways, Meridian Dance is the better of the two, so...

Eh, these two are all about the good riffs between the not so good stuff.  So, I'll toss Excalibur a bone here.

For some reason, this pool is dissapointing so far.  Which is odd, since I recall Pools 5-8 being decent.

As much as I like Forever Rachel, it sounds too much like the rest of this pool.  At least Moonlight Tango sounds different.

Tsukigatari - Tsukigatari - Image Song of Arcueid Brunestud (Tsukihime) vs Aether - Meridian Dance (Seiken Densetsu 3) - Both are fairly good, but I'm not that big a fan of either, to be honest, and the winner of the match below would beat the winner of this one fairly easily.

The Black Mages - Clash on the Big Bridge (Final Fantasy 5) vs Morrigan - I-III / Excalibur (Fate/Stay Night) - Big Bridge needs to not fall off in places.  Excalibur is good throughout.

Xenogears: Creid - Melkaba (Xenogears) vs FFVI Piano Collection - Celes (Final Fantasy 6) - Haha no.

Clash on the Big Bridge vs I-III / Excalibur - Neither of these are that great, so I'll go with Excalibur to attempt to get rid of a BM track.
Melkaba vs Celes - For the love of god will melkaba please die.
Sky Ray vs I swear... Instrumental Ver. - Both have their moments, but Sky Ray has more of them.
Ending vs At The World's End - Both need to lose
Town Theme Piano Arrangement vs Ryu for Four Pianos - Four Pianos doesn't appeal to me at all.
Kefka Gets Decisive vs Ghost - Ghost needs to lose already.
Forever Rachel vs Moonlight Tango - Slaughter
